I like all rmp but the omni. Rollers are limited by weight and speed. But mostly because of their rolling resistance. Better way to do this. SideDriver. Drive allways.
Great. So we can train better snipers and assassins. Kinda pricey. Wild Bill never needed no stinkin expensive Segway. They got it in the wrong direction of course. You want the gun mounted on the Segway for the robo barcalounger assassins. I thought that the Segway inventor was supposed to be such a bigshot humanitarian?

@Blackwulf2003 and @valcan321 - According to US gov-t definition, the term terrorism means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents. 500000+ people (civilians) killed by US in Iraq. So again, who is a terrorist?
Proportionally to all the other troubles of the world, like airborne pollution, which kills just in US 50000+ people annually, terrorism is far from being a peaking issue for a thinking human.
Ducerdog.. Exactly WHAT do you think the insurgents and criminals are wearing against our law enforcement officers and soldiers..? If these can help train our boys to do there jobs more effectively and avoid the innocent people walking around with civilian clothes on as well.. I support it.. Go back to your video games where the "bad guys" wear uniforms..
@blackwulf2003 Yep, some people just don't get it. Warfare has been forever changed, there will never be another Vietnam type war. The technological gap between the top armies and the rest of the world is so large that trying to fight a conventional war against an advanced military would be totally futile.
@Baxxter101 On the contrary, a clandestine force can cause many thousands of dollars worth of damage with a three cent bullet. We won't see the large scale deployment of these devices until they're cheaper than a human life (~20K/year or so)

Segway is not responsible for additions and modifications? A video suggesting that your product will help to get better at killing people in civilian clothing suggests the opposite.
@DucerDog Ever seen what a taliban jihadi wears? Ever seen what your average afghani wears? Same thing. They do that on perpose. So yes your a dumbass. Think before you speak....or well type.
the marskman training looks amazing. it probably costs a ton of money to deploy, though, leaving it just in the reach of the military. a structured, hire-able training program could be very successful in touring the country to give law enforcement trainings.
@shikengriuber Engadget posted the link on thier website, and I needed someone to point the finger at. Doesn't seem fair to blame segway, they make some badass stuff......

Reminds me of the scene from Caprica where the cylon is qualifying for the military
contract at Graystone Industries by shooting at the drones (robots that have no
limbs but can move intelligently).
