  • @mattpat77 Ari is one of those people blessed with a voice for radio and not a face for radio. lol

  • @mattpat77 dido

  • heeeee's haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawt

  • I'm not sure about all this but aren't the apps designed/created by some developer? Who developed the NPR app? If NPR developed it, then aren't they the ones that receive royalties (or however they pay developers per download)? If that's true, then NPR is just using the ever popular iPad as a platform to, perhaps, expand their audience base. I don't own an iPad so I'm not defending them. I only own a 3rd Gen Ipod Nano. ;)

  • NPR whoring itself out to Apple Computers.

And this from a network which has always prided itself on the quality of its reporting, "because we are not beholden to corperate sponsers".

NPR, how low you have fallen.

  • @SinnFein4ever Yeah, I agree. It's a bit disappointing.

  • @Claizen

All the more reason for us to donate to NPR & PBS regularly.

If all of us who watch/listen to PBS/NPR gave a little each month, they wouldn't have to do this.

  • @SinnFein4ever I agree it is disturbing, I wish that they didn't have to do this, I make my donations each month but its just not enough. The content is still the finest in the biz in my opinion though

  • @WillaCather

    So do I.

But I donate to a lot of different charities and organizations every month, and so I can't give too much to any one of them.

  • @SinnFein4ever IPad gives NPR a new way to reach people and as long as Apple doesn't get a say on NPR programming (and they don't) it's no more whoring than having a website.

  • @SinnFein4ever retard!
