Ponder is an intelligent qb first of all. Secondly who's to say that this guy would of been available with the 43 pick? I'm pretty sure that Arizona, Cincinnati, Redskins, 49ers, and maybe Seattle need qbs. Pretty sure one of those teams would of taken Ponder and then guess what? We're left trying to trade for Mcnabb? Kolb? Not long term solutions. Lets get out of the old way of thinking, the temporary fixes and lets give this guy some faith based on what we know.
