I love dsbm, but it depresses me sometimes, but it also satisfies me that there are other people that understand nihilism and similar ideas, and it allows me to be by myself and rest and reflect. I feel a sense of sympathy for the artists, I share and understand their feelings and want to comfort them, but in a way they also comfort me.

According to music psychologists there is no music that have a so called "mozart effect" = music that appeals in the same way to all humans.

But in my views DSBM and some ambient black metal is the most negative and disturbing music that exist.

I find this music to be piece of art from very destructive and disturbed human beings.

one problem i do have with dsbm is that it is not in my eyes a very realist type of idieology that goes with it. Still, its great, but it is fully possible to live an enjoyable life. One ambient black metal song that i do feel kind of captures that proper nihilism, however, is "Spectral Lore - Through an infinite Dreamscape".

It really gives that feeling thats not sad, angry or happy.
