Please note the amendment to the Defense Authorization bill that failed to reach the floor for debate on September 21 was not an automatic repeal of DADT. DADT would have been repealed if the study released at the end of the year suggested repealing DADT. So basically if the study showed that DADT was working to what it was designed to do (not sure what that was) DADT would not have been repealed though that amendment.

They are eager to join so they can work in Government jobs stateside being paid twice what they would earn in the private sector. There is always a point where a country can become too liberal (i.e. the Soviet Union or Greece for a more modern example) but the U.S. is not at that point yet.
