I love the sun shining through effect in these old and persian bazaar high sealing rooms and the effect of open space in this B&W video. I love this song, too. Can't think why Cutting Crew didn't get more notice. Okay, "I Just Died In Your Arms" wasn't great, but this song, "Everything But My Pride"--great stuff. Good guitar work. "Handcuffs for Houdini" is my all-time fave.

Nick Van Eede (British) and Kevin MacMichael (Canadian) formed "Cutting Crew"
in 1985 but sadly "Kevin" died in 2002, I haven't heard anything about them since

this was a great group of the 80s, but i only remember this song and (i just) died in your arms. whatever happened to them? are they still around?

@abbyatact In 2005, Van Eede reformed the group with a completely new line-up. They released an album, Grinning Souls, in February 2006 on the Hypertension record label. The new band toured Germany early the same year and played on tours in the UK and Denmark. In 2008, Cutting Crew signed a U.S. deal with label Spectra Records

I love this song, too. Can't think why Cutting Crew didn't get more notice. Okay, "I Just Died In Your Arms" wasn't great, but this song, "Everything But My Pride"--great stuff. Good guitar work. "Handcuffs for Houdini" is my all-time fave.

@1halfmanhalfamazing sadly no music or movies will probably never be this good again. musicians and directors back then jsut seemed 2 care more about putting out a quality product. now its all about bringing in qucik cash and who gives a fuck if it's remembered 20-30 years from now. this is back when mtv showed videos and was actually fun 2 watch, now it should be called shit tv with stupid ass shows like jersey shore taking place of good stuff like this. where's doc brown with the delorian?
