creio que não, mas também creio que esses atletas não dedicaram anos de sua vida em treinos para a "rua", eu sou faixa preta em KARATE KYOKUSHIN, e branca em JIU JITSU, nunca precisei e espero nunca precisar usar alguma dessas artes na rua. treino praticamente e semana toda, para enfrentar adversários no mesmo nível no tatame ou no ring ja que também treino para MMA.

não acho o JUDÔ uma arte interessante mas respeito seus praticantes, e acho que deveria fazer o mesmo.

lots of the falls here are not more than YUKO (5) in my time, but strangely, the referees seems to give them IPPON (9). It questions me a lot about the state of Judo these days... It's not just because the guy rolls over you that you get a IPPON, but the throw had to be STRONG, SUDDEN (velocity) and that the TORI had to fall FLAT ON HIS BACK (not on his ass or a roll on the side). Some there were pussippon...

@Caiograndessa Where are the Marco Ruas videos? I got to meet him once in Dallas. He is huge as hell, such a nice guy. He also helped MMA not with judo, but with foot stomps. He did use Judo as wrestling in MMA, but he made foot stomps. Marco Ruas and Royce Gracie are UFC pioneers. Rickson Gracie didn't fight as much, but he was the best in the family. Sorry if i got off the judo thing.
