with biped all you have to do is adjust the biped bones to match your model, then skin your model to the biped skeleton, and then the animation is pretty easy
You can even use motion capture files (which you can get free online ..or commercial packs) You can also save and build up a library of motions plus normal keyframe animation (which you can also save out)
It also has a motion mixer where you can take separate motion files, mix them and apply different motions to different body parts...
Do you know a good tutorial on Facial animation for 3D Studio Max like the way you did yours?
How great is the Biped in 3D STudio Max? Does it require a bit of rigging to work or is it all set up and ready to go?
I maybe doing a small animation in the future in 3D Studio Max. That's why I ask.

...layer motions etc. There's even a crowd simulator (though I've never used it)
Hmm.. maybe I should do a walkthrough of my character motion animation workflow next.

Yeah, that would be a great idea.

Cool! I think I'll do that once I get to the character animation in the near future. Thanks.

Thank you for this. Thanks for the "Uncanny Valley" link. Cool insight into the process of yours, of big interest to me. :)
