  • Great job kid! I learned a lot and it was fun listening to you!

  • Great video dude!

  • 5 days and this is ur most viewed video!

    lol

  • inPrivate is more powerful! Blocks cookies and also any kind of information about your PC!

The websites you visit may still have records of your visit when using incognito. Cookies are stored temporarily on your PC! They are deleted when session is terminated but still..

  • the reason why it is fast is because hardly anyone is using it yet so google dont get all the bandwith taken

  • Browsers don't use the designers servers to run so that makes no difference. I'm still unsure about google chrome mind.

  • at 4:43 what program is that...or how can ppl call u on ur pc...i have vista?

  • NERD

  • i heard that google chrome is crazy fast. can anybody confirm this for me? dont really feel like installing chrome. and my ff3 is still pretty quick.

  • Yes it is VERY fast although if you do not want to install it then Google the words "Google Chrome Portable"....that way you do not need to install it....just, run it!

  • Just a small correction.

In Incognito mode is not that Google can't see what you're doing, but the Browser itself won't keep track on your surfings.

It's not a big mistake though, but a little better articulated. :)

  • Hey nice review, I was unsure before about downloading this browser but i think i'm going to get it now :) thanks

  • What about the home button? How are you supposed to get to the home page in this browser?

  • I would have thought (Alt + M) - all the other windows shortcuts are used in Chrome so I presume this one is too...

  • You can add the home button in settings...

  • ok, thanks, but I'm having a little trouble finding it.

  • Never mind, I found it. Thanks.

  • Google chrome looks like a very slick, clean and simple browser!

Looks cool but doesn't beat Firefox 3 with it's extensions

  • this guy doesn't know anything about coding. It's open source because it has a "View Source" option? haha

  • Yeah I was just about to say that haha

  • Thanks! Helped a lot! :3

  • Great job young man. Thanks.

  • Google Chrome is thebest

  • View Source is the source of the page - not the source of the browser!

You have this feature in every browser and it has nothing to do with chrome being open source

  • cool vidz dude. love ur reviews. cool accent too.

  • nice Google chrome is awesome im using it right now... C-Net sent me an email about it and i got it and its awesome and nice video

  • this is a rely good video thanks

  • I just found out that you can add ad blocking and mouse gestures to google chrome... now its awesome!!!

googlechrometips.blogspot.*com/2008/09/how-to-make-it-so-that-google-chrome.html (delete the *, since youtube is being weird)

  • I downloaded it thanks!

  • Your welcome, moreover, how do you like it?

  • Well I like the tabs and the speed. This is a very nice browser!

  • Do u know when it will come out again not in beta???

  • Probaly in a couple of months I geuss

  • Good review. Thanks.

  • very good i feel like downloading now and subscribing

  • thanks man :)

  • Thanks buddy!

  • I must say, for someone as young as you are, you know your stuff. Impressed. :)

  • awesome video thanks for posting this

  • Just a quick correction from a TU Staff Member on the Incognito window: It actually only stops the acceptance of cookies and does not record browsing history. Sites can still see your information.

    Thanks for watching TU!

  • really good and comprehensive vid. nice job kid!

  • Excellent VIDEO!

  • view source is the web page's source kid. not the browsers. 5 stars anyways.

  • dang, u beet me to it. oh well, i can still make a vid...

  • nice mini review, keep it up kid

  • Its pretty fast...

  • This is the best browser and it have onlying been one day.

  • Great video, dude. I tried out Google Chrome, it's really good. LOL, better than my video. :D

  • Nice video.

  • Opera I believe came out with the tabs on top first, they deserve the credit.

Also, when you click view source, it shows the source code of the page you're visiting (which i don't even think is open source, it's most of the times copyrighted). I don't think it has anything to do with Chrome being open source. All the other browsers, including the non-open source ones show the source code of the pages you visit.

Other than that, it's a damn good review. Keep it up!

  • Great job presenting, but I got a little dizzy watching it on the big screen. Also, you missed one of my favorite features. If you were to search for something while you were at Amazon, you could then start typing Amazon's URL in the address bar, but hit tab instead of Enter and then immediately enter a search phrase to execute before going to the site. Also, you probably know by now that you were way off on View Source. Nice try, though, and good job overall.

  • "view source", hahaha funny cunt. if you're gonna review and demo something, you should actually use it first :) you did well, none the less.

  • I think it's actually faster than Firefox! Youtube loads in 2 seconds and in FireFox it opens slower.

  • i like this browser but i dont think its ready to compete with firefox, safari, opera and i.e.

  • agreed except for ie which sucks in comparison to the other 3

  • wow you sound so young but I love the way you deliver the content!

    Good vid! Kick some @ss!

  • Good work Google! I'll keep FF, but just as a backup. Chrome will now be my default. So fast, less prone to crashing - and even if there is a crash u can just close that tab rather than the browser - what we've always wanted! Looks cool - and address bar search is awesome. Happy camper all round :)

  • The browser looks best on Vista!

  • Great work, thank you!

  • Nice video! Might get this, hoping it's got a Mac release.

Just to let you know the 'view source' shows the HTML of that webpage/site and not the source for Google Chrome. If you knew that already, sorry to offend you with the obvious.

    *****

  • was gonna say the same thing =]

  • Nice vid, but I have one correction. The thing about having tabs on top is not new at all - the Opera browser always had it like this

  • Yes, it's just that I have never used Opera really soo I didn't really know.

  • dude, you sound like a 12 year old!

Will have to commend your knowledge, considering your age!

    keep up the good work.

  • nice vid. thanks

  • great review! you are fantastic and have a great talent ... I'm your subscriber

  • Good vid, nice info.

    thx

  • Incredible overview. I use a Mac, so I'm stuck waiting for a bit, but your video answered a lot of questions I had, while leaving me salivating pixels. It was concise and eloquent. You've raised the bar. Thank you.

  • Nice :D

  • Thanks! :D

  • Nice! Very comprehensive, thank you :)

What software do you use for your screen capturing?

  • In that video I used a free, open source application named Camstudio.

  • Here at TU, all of our Screencasts are recorded with either Camtasia Studio (More recent videos) or Camstudio. The Mac tutorials which will be posted in the future are all recorded with Screenflow or iShowU.

If you'd like to find out more, feel free to direct message CompHelperKid or myself.

    Thanks for watching TU!
