I honestly can't tell the difference between this genre and DnB... Can someone enlighten me? I just don't think there are enough breaks in this mix, maybe that's why? Breakcore is completely different and borders on Speedcore but Breakbeat and Dnb sound almost identical to me...

I would like to see some more of your skills with the effects used and your back spin routine. I also would like to see you mix something a little bit new, like away from the mainstream. Giving your fans a bit of a variety.

@djEvolvin thanks for the feedback mate appreciate it. It's hard to just jam and do lots of technical stuff when recording for YouTube as one bad mishap can kill a video! I have been thinking about that a lot lately though and will change it up in the coming weeks :) need to use the EFX-1000 to it's potential. Cheers!

@DjCotts EFX-1000 mix is still probley the best mix you have done to date IMO, possibley the 2nd best would be the website mix march 2009, or the dj cotts and dj ravine back to back march 2008. I still listen to these mixes everday.

Its clearer than for example it was a 100% moving scene. The Youtube encoder especially would find these rather easy to encode seeing as a lot of the elements are still a lot of the time, except for a few moving sections in the frame.

@Kiezy1337 Its breakbeat hardcore mate, its more of nod towards the old skool hardcore scene (92-94) but modernised and like hardcore likes to borrow influences from other scenes. Cotts has only played a small sample of the different varieties of sounds that the genre has offer by only using one label (though its the best for BBHC)
