The "Original" version of My Kantele appears on the Elegy album, the acoustic version apears in that album too...

I think you NEVER hear anything about the Elegy album...

well I own full amorphis discography, I have Elegy also, but I heard accoustic version first so I assumed it was the original

I have noticed that since the integration of Joutsen as vocalist, Amorphis plays the heavy version of "my kantele" and not the acoustic one. Both versions rock, but I prefer this one.

This is such a great vocalist in both, growls and clean vocals. And of course... This is such an awesome song!! :)

hate to say the same thing everybody does... but this is the best vocalist the band has ever had, both for the growls and the clean voice. Pasi couldn´t hit a note live.

i was on 3 Amorphis with Koskinen live show 's - and he always did a lot of mistakes in singing) maybe he was great as studio vocalist, but got serious problems with live singing )))
