Dude really? 360 developers were still using g5's as their dev kits 5 months before the system launched. Nintendo added 50% more RAM to the 3ds only a few months before it launched. You're slowly showing that you really don't know what you're talking about.

So the core console would have to be powerful enough and have enough memory to stream four different players playing the same game to four different screens simultaneously while maintaining framerate, texture quality, etc. And the confirmed specs for the WiiU, unless they delay the planned June 1012 launch, aren't powerful enough to handle that kind of processing load.

I like my Wii. but it was the lack of online capabilities that really ruin the fun of it for me. And although I don't care about graphics the lack of HD stopped it from getting good 3rd party and multi-platform games such as Skyrim . To be fair though I think it's wrong to judge the WiiU seeing as we barley know anything about it. Although I do think it's coming to fast and because of that the next xbox and playstation will probably crush it.

Hey, hey. Keep the DS out of this. While the control gimmick, inferior hardware and cheap price are all true, it's still a better handheld than the PSP was. PSP is a 3D system that kinda sucks at playing 3D games, because of the one analog -- the exact problem the 3DS faces right now. And its control gimmick was much better realized and much more useful than the Wii's. And overall, it just had the better games. So while PS3 > Wii... DS > PSP. Just my two cents.
I agree with everything you say excpet for one thing. The Wii is dead in america after Skyward sword, but in the Asia and Europe they still have The last Story and Pandora's tower to look foward to, so you can't speak for everyone in the world when in other parts of the world they might get games that we may not be able to get here in America.

@drtre81 The only FACT confirmed about the possibility of it being able to handle more than one tablet is that the GPU can stream four SD streams simultaneously. If it ends up being able to do it, great. But Iawata has said no, myamoto has said no, and the confirmed hardware specs shoot down the possibility of it being powerful enough to do so, so the'd have to delay the june 2012 launch date to change the stats released over the summer.

So the core console would have to be powerful enough and have enough memory to stream four different players playing the same game to four different screens simultaneously while maintaining framerate, texture quality, etc. And the confirmed specs for the WiiU, unless they delay the planned June 1012 launch, aren't powerful enough to handle that kind of processing load.

I like my Wii. but it was the lack of online capabilities that really ruin the fun of it for me. And although I don't care about graphics the lack of HD stopped it from getting good 3rd party and multi-platform games such as Skyrim . To be fair though I think it's wrong to judge the WiiU seeing as we barley know anything about it. Although I do think it's coming to fast and because of that the next xbox and playstation will probably crush it.

Hey, hey. Keep the DS out of this. While the control gimmick, inferior hardware and cheap price are all true, it's still a better handheld than the PSP was. PSP is a 3D system that kinda sucks at playing 3D games, because of the one analog -- the exact problem the 3DS faces right now. And its control gimmick was much better realized and much more useful than the Wii's. And overall, it just had the better games. So while PS3 > Wii... DS > PSP. Just my two cents.

@bobjbob Dude seriously you don't wanna talk reviews when defending the wii lol. The wii so far has 12 AAA games (games above 90%) The 360 has 39 AAA games and the ps3 has 36 AAA games. I don´t give a shit about reviewers but by your own logic the wii is nothing compared to the ps3 and 360´s blockbuster library.

@bobjbob If you really look at it UC3 had a 93 the last time I checked on MCritic. Twilight Princess was a horrible Zelda game and scored a 95 Metacritic. There is no reason for Skyward Sword not to take GOTY unless Skyrim pulls in straight 10s
