People are always so quick to quote something in the bible and don't even understand the setting or context in which it was written. It's amazing to me all these people are carrying the Holy Bible but don't believe what's is written in it. The qualifications of a Bishop are clear enough for a grade schooler to understand. Let's not mislead the people. The only female pastors i know in COGIC is Marie Gardner and Angel Simmons(Prophet Nathan Simmons widow). Those are the only two that I know of in our denomination. It is definitely not widespread. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Im 27 yrs old "HolyGhost Preacher"!! I've been sitting on the front row pew of an Apostolic church all my life. With that said, yes I know the Word..backward & forward. - yes, it's also clear that Pres. Obama is not yet governing in a manner that Dr. King could (at this point in Pres. Obama's tenure) support or endorse. Mr. Obma needs to have a comprehensive agenda for poor Americans in generals and poor Blacks and minority specifically. He doesn't seem to think that that is a priority for him unfortunately.

This was the first video I saw of Bishop Locke (some 2 1/2 years ago). . . I'd never known of her before; and I was AMAZED to say the least. I'd never heard anyone preach that way before - I got hooked to say the least.

@optimistic719 Christianity has been so corrupted with pagan teaching it is having an influence on you. Mary meeting Christ and being asked to tell the disciples (all men) that he Christ is alive. You somehow extrapolate from that, that gives women the right to preach or to be pastors. Are you kidding me? Then why none of the Mary's, Miriam's, Martha's or any other holy women of the bible open up a church and started preaching? Could it be because they knew the LAWS forbid doing such things?

@optimistic719 These words are not my opinion. Women being prohibited from preaching and pastoring are not my laws. I am not the author. These are the teaching of his Majesty who sits on high. I refer to him as the Most High or the Hebrew God of the Bible. I just follow and past on his instruction that are written in the bible so you and others don't find yourself in the lake of fire for your disobedience when his son makes his second debut on earth.

When Jesus got up from the grave, who carried the "message" to the 12 "men" , they went back to fishing. People are always so quick to quote something in the bible and don't even understand the setting or context in which it was written. Clearly we are in the last days and Acts 2:17-18 says "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. Read the WHOLE BIBLE please.

A bunch of these modern ministries have become subject to strong delusion rather believe a lie than the truth. It's amazing to me all these people are carrying the Holy Bible but don't believe what's is written in it. The qualifications of a Bishop are clear enough for a grade schooler to understand. People are always trying to spiritualize things when they are doing something they don't have any business doing.

Let's not mislead the people. The only female pastors i know in COGIC is Marie Gardner and Angel Simmons(Prophet Nathan Simmons widow). Those are the only two that I know of in our denomination. It is definitely not widespread. If I am wrong, please correct me.

It's amazing that people dont believe that women can be and are called to preach but in Mark 14:30 that he used a cock to crow three to let peter know he would deny him. Then in Numbers 22:28 Balaam got into an arguement with the donkey that spared his life. The woman at the well carried the message to come see a man. Why does everyone relate preaching to be standing up on a pulpit in front of a crowd? God has called us to go out into all the nations and preach the gospel. It doesnt say I have only chosen men to preach...... Preaching is sharing Jesus with others regardless of where it is done. God uses all forms of measure to get his gospel out there. exactly....he is speaking to those individuals because they were the only ones in that particular day and age who could preach, be bishops....women were not allowed to even study the torah...yet alone understand the gospel....so i totally agree with you...ppl better learn that we are a free ppl...not subjagated by color, ethnicities, or sex.

@nrwotc Maybe her husband is the senior Bishop. If so, she may just carry that title b/c they are addressed as "Bishop so and so"

@nrwotc What I'm saying is, that she's just a guest speaker. Ultimately, it's paul s morton who is the authority figure in that church. Now as for the title. What I'm saying is that maybe it's her husband that is the bishop, pastor, reverand(whatever title). If her husband is the pastor, she's probably just adressed as that title w/ him. She doenst as far as I know have a church that SHE is the senior pastor at.

Im 27 yrs old "HolyGhost Preacher"!! I've been sitting on the front row pew of an Apostolic church all my life. With that said, yes I know the Word..backward & forward. And I am extremely familiar with Jezebel, "its" characteristics, its motives and ect. So like I said and my opinion is, thats what the first part sounded like to me. Thats nothing against her, cause I love her preaching, but she described a spirit thats running loose in our churches today. Sorry you couldnt detect that.
