Then again, in battlefield 3, if you even had a tank trying to take out a station from way across the map, you could just hop in a jet and blow it up. Maybe they tried to balance something from BFbc2 that didn't need balancing with the way BF3 is gonna work.

@ConradWinkles2 I do not think MCOM stations will be destroyable except by arming them up close. They didn't want people sitting back with tanks+optics and destroying every objective. I'm not sure how I feel about that, because sometimes you have a bunch of idiot teammates who don't even try for the objectives and you don't have much of a choice other than to use lame tactics like C4 on a UAV, but we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out when the game is released.

If it's a deployable from the engineer, he could easily hide 10 feet from the objective in some bushes, deploy the bot and then drive the ten feet and arm the Mcom, if the bot is destroyed no harm done, the engineer is safe.

okay, the first game i know of to have drones that can be used to 'tag' and to kill enemies is frontlines:fuel of war. homefront (made by the same people) had them as well. then bf3, mw3 and ghost recon future soldier decided to steal the idea, so these drone things are going to be in every major game for the next couple of years.

@lorenzogjr13 this gadget is for the engineer. it has been confirmed on the bf3 fact sheet, google it. there will also be a mini UAV of some sort. class not yet said but it will be a gadget, most likely recon. these are the only two radio controlled class gadgets. hope i helped.
