Oneness means we are from God but never can be God. On His image we were created and have taken, partially, important ingredients of his which are love, justice, wisdom and power. He is the ultimate we are the fractions. When we love Him dearly, we get as close as possible to Him, as one but not as Him.

Oneness in god means that we as a homogeneous mass are in fact god; god is us. Hence, oneness.
