I thought this was a pre-existing jingle. I went on Gaffweb, and a December Will Be Magic radio intro was mentioned with the list of demos and old work.

If you did make, where did you get the audio samples of Kate from. I'm not familiar with the lines she sings.

I don't think it's sampled at all. The audio quality sounds like an old tape. It's probably a real Xmas jingle she made for Radio 1 back in the day. The late John Peel was a DJ on Radio 1. Don't know who the other one mentioned was though. Sounds like "Pete Checker opening his presents". But I probably misheard the name.

I found this transcription on a Japanese site. I don't know if it's correct but I think it is.

It would be a Japanese site, wouldn't it? Nothing is ever simple with Kate.
