i play the easier version where it drops down an octave in part 2. i always admire anyone who does this version (alla J Bream ). It does sound nicer. Well done. it takes bottle just to sit and video it without coming to grief. Well, it does for me anyway !! This is why I love youtube.
Wow.. this is seems very hard to play.. not sure on the tempo as indicated by meridonaguitar84.. but many players tend to speed things up a bit... awesome execution .. and she is only 13 !!!
I am sorry but this is an example of technique overtaking musicality. This is a piece by Bach and contains many voices harmonies and counterpoint that this rendition shoots past without consideration of the composers intentions. Slow down and listen .. hear the subtle conversations that goes on between the upper middle and lower voices... Until you hear these nuances play slowly and use you technique to emphasise these voices clearly .. or you end up with a midi file with no emotion.

This is very nice! If I can I'd like to share some advice that I learned from a master's class featuring Bach guru Dr. Frank Koonce on the same piece: Don't play it for the 16th notes, play it for the melody and counterpoint. Rubato, volume, and tone differentials between the two will really bring this one out and make it BEAUTIFUL. This one is my favorite too!
Very nice playing. What arrangement/musical notation did you use for the high-neck passage from measure 13 to 15? Mine is in the first 3 frets. I suppose I could transfer my current notation up the neck. I thought it would make for nice contrast to play this passage in the high register the first time through, then in the low register the second time through. --JamDanny
@jamdanny This is from the Faber published edition made by Julian Bream when he first recorded it back in the 60's. On Bream's final EMI recording, however, he reverts to the more-or-less standard version one would hear. Personally, I still prefer the version played here...
buena interpretacion,,pero seria bueno disminuir la velocidad y destacar mas cada nota, para dar mas armonia. sin duda tienen mucho talento..felicitaciones.
your great just slow down and don't rush a good thing let the notes notes ring out are you yngwie malmsteens daughter thats 3:00 minute jobby great jod though love anybody that can play that one your internet fan
Quite nice indeed. Try to play it a bit more relaxed though. A bit sloppy here and then,- some unpleasent sounds, and some notes don't seem to come trough the way they should. Take it easy, and you'll do even better.
