I know this is just stylized because it's an OVA, but its like I can't see any other Tales swordsman beating these guys. They're clashing swords, tripping each other, all the while moving in a constant rhythm. That is SO badass!!!

@halfangelfreak Actually, Tales of Symphonia 2 was being made before this anime, and Emil's art showed him holding his sword. Yuan's sword looks like Emil's because Yuan DID NOT USE THAT SWORD IN TALES OF SYMPHONIA, he used the double edged blade that is shown in the second half of this fight, and the fact that Symphonia 2 was in development before this anime proves my point.

I'm not saying that you are wrong about it being "thunder explosion" in the dubbed game. the translation was made to appeal to the audience. For the literal translation to be, "thunder explosion". The japanese phrase would be "kaminari/raimei no bakuhatsu" or "bakuhatsu ga narimasu"

Really? I thought Sheena was. And Zelos is definitely more agile than Kratos; it's why Zelos can get four hits out of Victory Light Spear whereas Kratos only gets three. Kratos' attacks are more powerful than Zelos, though. xD

Well its problably true that he would've won but take this in mind. Yuan is also very skilled and has just as much experience in combat as Kratos does since they went on the same journey together with mithos and martel
