  • Back in the late 70's was in coming home from high school and saw me mom listening to this on the stereo though she didn't speak a word of English...at that moment I knew my mom was cool.

    this is beatles!

  • why does it can't last forever?

  • one of the best song of beatles....

  • the moment when Paul looks at the camera..

    omg ORGASM!!!!! :D

  • love this version. i can actualy hear the instruments better :)

  • All this material not available in the 70's 80's and 90's until you tube. You lucky people.

  • Still prefer the Spector version with the romantic strings

  • I just came over from "Two of Us" to see if Ringo was still bored...

    I was right. :]

  • @WooleyWorld Haha me too. I love the song Two of us and all of the beatles songs. and im like oh this vid looks like from the same recording sessions. I wonder if ringos still bored lol

  • @kozmicblues14 Oh yeah. Ringo's "bored". I'll let you think that.

  • @me4ever22c lol Well iM sure hes also something else too( high):) come on it was the late 60s early 70s a lot of ppl did drugs then lol/ Who care The Beatles are still Great. the sad thing is when they all are strung out on drugs they still make better music that the people from today.

  • @kozmicblues14 Dude, he's obviously stoned. As a toker, I can tell.

  • who is the black men??

  • @santy10596 ummm Billy Preston......DUH

  • Notice the different lyric in this version compared to the album and single version. Anyway you've always known the many ways I've tried. Instead of anyway you'll never know...

  • @mrjoepad1 i think this is actually the version on let it be naked

  • Comment removed

  • This version is infinitely better than the Phil Spector overproduction, and anyone who thinks otherwise should be locked up with Phil Spector.

  • They played this song at my Grandmother's funeral

  • 2 people don't know what is music

  • PAUL IS SO FREAKING CUTE!!!! JUST CAN'T STAND IT!!!!!!! X3 <3<3<3<3

  • jhvggfhhhhhhhhhgfuytfgjymhyg

  • i went to his concert in the summer. this song made everyone around me bawl, including me. <3

  • Let's make it plural :o)

  • @wo00osh

Yoko always supported the Beatles (or as she just called them "Beatles"). While Yoko and John were together, she always was there at the recording studios, with John supporting them. (Hints why she's in so many videos) She always did support them, and always will.

P.S. 1 dislike, not dislikes. 1is not plural. It also would be more correct to say, "I guess you, Yoko, dislike?"

Dude, just take some acid, play some Beatles songs, and enjoy the show.

  • @TheGiantSoupBowl Sadly I wouldn't call her presence in studios as "supportive" but more like "a pain in the arse". I don't blame Yoko for breaking up the Beatles but we all know how much tension her presence caused.

  • @ZZqezza Well, she had good intentions, even if she DID annoy the crap out of George, Paul, and Ringo.

  • I don't like it I LUV it!! <3 ;)

  • Luv this song. It's like it not even sayin words it's just taking u to a path of all this music. :) So pretty.. Sad though. D:

  • GREAT

  • hahah look at billy preston

  • Awe, very beautiful. Paul's and John's friendship just makes me want to cry. They were true friends.

  • No one can compare to the Beatles.

  • Stupid "the men don't cry" they do it! i almost did it

  • This version is so much better than Phil Spector's...

and... this song makes me cry :') it's soooo beautiful !!

PS : at 2:30 there is Billy Preston.. <3

  • This version is so better song and you?

  • why am i crying...

  • I didn't know Cheech played in this song !

  • that's not paul..

  • @VelvetSynclaire

Ah yes, that's him. Love him.

  • @VelvetSynclaire

    Oh yes it is.

  • @The8thWalrus No, it's not.

  • @VelvetSynclaire

    Yes it is :)

  • @The8thWalrus nah.. his eyebrows are different. Look at old pictures of a young Paul, his eyebrows are very distinct and curve in a unique way. Also, they're worlds thicker, just not the same shape. Maybe they can get thicker over time but the shape definitely does not change.

  • some music pulls you deep into it, let's you be who you really are while you listen to it in your soul. the long and winding road is that sort of music. no matter when you hear or how many times you've heard it. it is brilliant.

  • FUCK YOU PHIL SPECTOR. and yoko ono while i'm at it.

  • paul looks cute even when he has sooo much hair

  • Every time I see Yoko she looks like a F'n ZOMBIE. Just amazes that someone so...dull... could hang with Legends like the Beatles, let alone be with one of 'em....

  • New count: 47,766 views, no dislikes.

  • 1:09 IS WHY THE BEATLES DIVORCED AS A BAND!!! :(((((

  • LOL. Under the like/dislike bar it says

    Artist: Beat Less

  • DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THEY LOOK LIKE THEY'RE PLAYING UNDER DURESS (besides Paul who's basically licking the camera)?

  • I have the full movie (which is rare) from which this is from. It's called Let It Be and hasn't been re-released in many years because it sheds in the Beatles in a negative light due to John's drug use and the fighting that broke up the group a short time later.

Message me if you'd like a link..

  • I just dont like yoko she changed john

  • Jeez even I want Yoko to go away!

  • :'( Beatles <3 I can't explain I have no words I love you

  • going to see paul next friday in vegas! hope he plays this!

  • paul soo dead

  • ok i said it wrong, i'm laughing in the whole music. AND I DON'T KNOW WHY.

  • why when the music started and stopped in the moment that paul says 'the long and winding road that...' i started to laugh like an idiot? geez i think i'm sick

  • is george playing a 6 string bass?

  • @Ajhkatsumoto its a fender telecaster guitar

  • @Ajhkatsumoto john is on a six string bass.

  • My tastes lean more toward the guitar oriented songs of the Beatles. Having said that this song is a billion times better than Hey Jude which I find annoying and extremly overplayed. As long as I live I will never understand why Hey Jude is so freakin' popular. Even in terms of their piano songs this and Let It Be are better.

  • The answer is that ' Hey Jude' was the 1st pop song to be broadcast across 30 countries and was the 1st to openly involve other pop/rock stars- The Rolling Stones, Monkees etc.

  • @lob287 Hey cmon, how can Hey Jude be overplayed. It is over 40 years old and still stands up as one of the best songs ever, along with Let It Be and Get Back. The Beatles stand the test of time. Their music is eternal and some snob/slob says he gets annoyed because he thinks its over played. go listen to Justin Bieber, or Justin Timberlake or some other crap that wont be around in another five years. gsavage115

  • @gsavage115 First of all I don't need a lesson on the Beatles music I am a huge fan of them. My point here is that the Beatles have so many other songs that are much better than Hey Jude. Your remarks about Justin Bieber and Timberlake make no sense .Is there not one song by the Beatles you dont like ? If there is does that make you a Justin Bieber fan?. I made an assumption that those that would read my post would be adults that can have an intelligent discussion apparently I was wrong.

  • powerful stuff!

  • 34,000 views and 0 dislikes

  • @NYYTeixecute09 Now look what you've done.

  • @NYYTeixecute09 and now bieber saw this comment and she dislike this

  • @NYYTeixecute09 Yeah, and whoever pressed the dislike button are dooshes.

  • Whats funny is yoko wasted about a year just sitting in the recording studio with john, doing nothing. John, Paul, George, and Ringo were working very hard while she did nothing. Didn't she get bored? She wasn't interested in the Beatles!

  • one of the most beautifull song that i've ever heard..

  • Too bad Yoko didn't piss off.

  • i like this version, pauls voice is crystal clear, is ringo stoned

  • Paul criticized the Phil Spector version when he was embroiled in legal battles with the other Beatles. The claim was mostly PR. Paul was still bitter about Lee Eastman being rejected as the Beatles' manager in favor of Allen Klein. The truth is, as they say, in the puddling. The Spector version topped the chart and, when Paul has performed this song live in recent years, he has included the strings, if not the choir, admitting they were a nice touch.

  • @XDPeruMan its Norwegian wood not nowherian wood also that was about johns acustic guitar that was made of norwegian wood..also all beatles song are amazing

  • They'd long since stopped being a "band" at this point. Adds a bit of sadness to the lyric.

  • omg cn they get yoko out of here??? seriously does she have to be with john all of the time???

  • Why exactly was yoko there? I could never understand why she was at their rehearsals and in the studio etc...

  • @BrianMorrison71

That's why Ringo left for example whilst Paul's I Will

  • love love lovely stuff i play it in reggae

  • WOW, THIS IS POWERFUL STUFF ~ AND BILLY PRESTON, THE 5TH BEATLE. THANKS FOR THIS GEM. JOHNNY PAL

  • Ringo has no brains.

  • @alifeofreason no. dont diss ringo. hes the best one

  • @alifeofreason Do you think he cares? wow all that money he has made. He's a lovely bloke and a true gentleman. I love ringo

  • Siempre seran dioses, insuperables.

  • HOLY CRAP 1:06 , HEHEHEHE YOU SCARE ME CRAP¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Thank You Beatles

  • "many times ive been alone, and many times ive cried, anyways youll never know the many ways ive tried"

  • i hate yoko sooooooooooooooooo much

  • One of the best Beatles songs ever!, I always think of my parents who both have passed on, beautiful melody and lyrics. Anyway don't believe they could ever write a bad song. They are bar none the best group that ever lived!. Mary C

  • i love this music..the beatles are great::)

  • so they loved each OTHER WHO IS ANY ONE TO SAY ANTHING BOUT YOKO FUK U WHO SAY FUK YOKO / HE LOVED HER, DO U HAVE LOVE IN UR LIFE

  • Billy Preston on keys ???

  • Paul looks so drained, like this gets this over and say goodbye and see each other down the road later...

  • The beatles are the best fucking band ever, i just hope the old music style comes back, i hope the beatles reincarnate, or in other words a band that brings us the joy de beatles did, another band that can surpass them

  • This version is worlds better than that put together by Phil Spector. He added all of the strings and made it such a production....Paul was understandably furious---this version is so transparent and elemental. Beautiful. Perfect arrangement.

  • i like both versions

  • @pkhall1 hi! just wondering, are you aware of the "let it be:naked" release from a few years back? just the beatle's performances, without any additives, absolutely sublime!

  • @pkhall1 I agree, this one is MUCH MUCH more perfect than the "bedazzeled" version Phil Spector did...

  • which concert is this?

  • Comment removed

  • prettiest song <3333

  • CANZONE STUPENDA

  • what a song¡¡¡¡¡, scares me

  • This is a superb song and in fact my all-time favourite Beatles track!

  • i hate yoko ono se destroy the beatles

  • It wasn't just her. Linda Eastman did just as much but no one knew. May I suggest you look it up and read about it. I've learned not to blame her as much as I did. Actually the Beatles had all had enough of each other. All 4 felt that way. Paul was the first to announce their break up.

  • I read/saw on Anthology that it was John. Paul was really broken up about it, Linda helped. He said he stayed in his bed, drinking beer.

Either way, this song is amazing, and so were these four [five] people. <3

  • I'm sorry. I should have said Paul was the first to announce it to the public. John did tell the group but Paul told the media first. I remember it anyway. All 4 agreed to split. George was growing more and more resentful of his music not getting the credit for his accomplishments and Ringo didn't think they thought he was all that important as the rest of the band members. You can search your favorite search engine and read any of the books in there.

  • I just might. =]

and don't appologize, no problem! =]

of course, I wasn't around in the sixties, so I just know what I read! =]

  • @jmcjmc2007 LOL

  • Amen....

  • @XDPeruMan Its spelled Norwegian Wood.

  • @XDPeruMan The most amazing part is that they managed to become so professional in 6 and 1/2 years.

  • Comment removed

  • @XDPeruMan Not rock n roll history they changed all history

  • they just got better and better, beatles are the best band ever

  • Yoko just had to be in everything..No matter what others think. She led to the breakup of this incredible band

  • this song makes me cry.. so sad :(

  • Beautiful version, yet to be overproduced by Phil Spector.

  • You can almost grasp the approaching death of the band! Very sad! All things must pass...

  • yeah, but they went and recorded another fantastic album after this session.

  • the Beatles final session-it was all over
