Games on handhleds aren't really meant to be a replacement for console games. Everybody knows a psp lacks the power to have graphics like the ps3/xbox360

So you can't simply play a psp game expecting it to have ps3 graphics. You can't even expect it to feel the same way because the lack of a second analog stick makes a BIG difference.

Besides, this particular game is actually made for people who are true fans of this game. And those true fans don't care about graphics/slightly worse gameplay.

A complaint I'd have about thos game is the lack of npcs compared to the home versions, but then I guess thats down to the cpu power so more of them and the fps would've slow way down. The graphics don't look too bad and it would look better on the psp screen, I havn't tried myself yet though I'm still playing AC1 on 360 :)

Also, no, it's not for Ps2 but it is for 360/PS3/PC and the mobile versions are on DS/PSP/iOS .. I don't remember if there's an android one.

Look at it this way, This is a handheld game from 2009, so no durr it's not going to look like a PS3. The graphics are actually really good when you play this game in person. I mean I would much rather play this than the Ipod version. I play games for fun, not flashy graphics.
