  • @trevath After you type out your text, right-click on the text layer in your Layers Panel, and choose Create Work Path. That'l give you a path to Stroke.

yes, of course. type your text, right click the text layer in your layer panel and choose 'rasterise type'. however, you wont be able to edit your text when your finished, so think what your going to type carefully.

    :(

  • I LOVE this idea! thank you so much for sharing! ^O^

  • Can you tell us 'why' you make those Options "numbers" in the custom Brush setting ?

    Great tutorial btw ..

  • @nonatanoftona Mostly trial and error.

  • hi, glad to see ur videos as always.. can i ask u what type of text/letter u recommend me to use for write something there.

  • @sLapMeWitHaFisH Whatever looks nice to you should work just fine.

  • @nonatanoftona many people like to follow along with tutorials very precisely. If he were to just say, "chose a light blue", many people would be unhappy with their result because it doesn't look just like his. I'm not one of those people, but that should answer your question.

  • Remember, guys. You can do this with text, too!

Command+Click or CRTL+Click the icon of the text layer to select it, then go to your paths tab (by your layers tab), go to the bottom and click the "Work path from selection" option.

From there, you'll have a path and can simply follow this tutorial!

    Enjoy! (:

  • with what program you edit your videos? Thank You

  • @miame0071 ScreenFlow.

  • very nice, me likey.....*__*

  • we need to stroke it..THE PATH.. we need to stroke THE PATH!!! LOLED so hard->fell off my chair !! awesome tut Howard!

  • hi, i have been following you for ages now, i prefer video editing but i still love to learn about photoshop :) i really hope you reply to this as you know loads about graphics. anyway what tablet do you use and what would you advise for a beginner (that will last long) plz reply cause im having difficulty finding one i know will be good :)

  • @ninjahameboy Wacom makes the best tablets out there. I use the Large Intuos, but as a beginner, you'll probably be okay with their Bamboo line. It has less pressure sensitivity levels, but you may not need very many to start.

  • THATS YOU HOWARD! (Tom)

  • Great video, gonna use it right now! :D

  • Excellent tutorial as usual. Keep them coming!

  • heart shaped clouds?

  • Great tutorial!

  • Hi Howard, I'm a longtime fan of your tutorials. And I like that you get your images from Deviantart. However, could you mention that Deviantart is not a free image site. Of course there are mannnnny stock photo's. But there are also people who don't like to see their work pop up here and there.

I trust you already know this, but the random watcher of your video's do not know it.

    Sincerely, a deviantartist.

  • @enjoydotcom I understand that. I only use images which say they're available to use.

  • Thanks for the great tutorial! Will try write a lady's name in the snow with some piss style, I'm sure it will impress her, I'm so romantic :)

  • Can I have PSD file please ?
