@11ty62 I agree 100%. I've grown up using older excel/word programmes; they are easy to use and I never struggled. Not sure which dip-shit decided my A-levels should be increasingly difficult by making it so that excel needs a manual to work it.

@WeirdlyBeardly There is a way you can do that. Select design and go to chart layouts. From there, you can see a graph with no data EXCEPT the line. Hope this helps. :D

I have a question.

If I need to make a graph lets just say. lets just say that on the top of the y axi I have 2.000.00 sheeps and underneath 1.800.00 and then 1.600.00 until 20.000 on the x axi I got years from the left: 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994. now it would automaticlly make some lines now, BUT I want the lines to lets just say start at 20.000 and raise how can I do that - and how can I add another line? Thanks m8 :) but I have to keep those numbers on axis

Thats easy. Just put your 2nd set of x-values next to the first set. Then go into Chart Tools, and click "Select Data." In the box that pops up, click Add, then name this new set of values, select your X values, and select the Y values. Then click ok :D

if I need non-regular values for my x-values, how can I use a standard scale rather than making my x-values the scale? For example, I want my x-values to be plotted on a regular scale from 1 to 50, but my x-values are not 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. I want the horizontal scale to be 1, 2, 3, 4, etc but I want my x-values to be 1.23, 2.21, 3.60, etc. Can i even do that in excel 2007? It was so easy in 2003
