  • Nice video! 've done quite a bit of ridge soaring with sailplanes at Chillhowee, TN. Never had any trouble...they are faster, but not so fast that you dont see them coming and they can just go around. Thermaling with them also works out since they make much larger circles. Lots of fun!

  • Great Vid'. Looks like a lot of fun.

    We have often found that we can out climb the sailplanes if there are small punchy thermals as we have a smaller radius we can turn in. But boy are those guys fast on glide. Hope to see more vids from you.
