  • It's reacting to the lemon juice you've just squeezed over them. It's creating tiny electrical charges and causing them muscles to twitch.

  • @PortsideVideo Interesting explanation, but does it make a fish muscle twitch that much?

  • I've watched enough hentai to know where this is going.

  • @MrInnominate DAMNIT. that's what I was going to type

  • where did you steal the fish from?? hahaha bazing!

  • "Tea is a meal we have in Britian in the evening." and here all this time i thought they meant the beverage, after watching this i think if im in ever in Britian ill avoid "tea time" not trying to be rude or anything... just dosent seem like my cup of tea

  • clearly these fish are possessed by satan

  • They look like two pissed off porn star penises.

Or as some call it, the human horn.

  • I wanna know if you ate it after that!

  • at least you know its fresh

  • Comment removed

  • Don't worry its only the tapeworms freaking out.

  • "The fish is moving boot it's dead!"

  • you somehow elecrefied them and that elecricity got shot through their nerves

  • is it me, or is the freakiest thing about this is that she's making tea with fish???

  • it stopped moving....poke it with a stick!

  • Damn nature, you scary!

  • I assume you just salted them?

  • Wonderful video

  • 1. alminium wheel

  • Leapin' Lizards! The Dogfish are Dancin'!

  • now thats a fresh fish, something tell me you probably dont eat fish anymore :/

  • Next species up is humanity lock and load people lol

  • atleast you know the fish you're eating is fresh. #LOL

  • @FoxGuy777

That occurred to me as well until I realised it was a decapitated fish. With no head, no guts and no brain, it can't experience pain. What this probably was is nothing more than nerve reactions and muscle spasms. There are a lot of circumstances under which dead creatures including humans (as I'm sure you know) can and will twitch and writhe even though they are beyond any shadow of doubt dead.

  • @drtazzle

Now knowing that they're decapitated, I feel much better.

  • @FoxGuy777 I did too when I read the description. :)

  • @drtazzle Yup I agree with you.

You can create spasms in most detached or paralyzed limbs in any organism with a nervous system, dead or alive. You just need a stimulant in this case it looks like she just squeezed lemon juice and/or salted the fish. This made the nerves reach their action potential and they started firing.

  • @TheJoeyx2 Of course it's also a fish, which probably contributes to that since they have a more primitive nervous system x-x

  • @FoxGuy777 Uh... How much pain is your foot in if it's cut off?

  • @ravenouspanda

I thought they were still intact, but just skinned. If that's just a part that was cut off, then...I guess it wouldn't be in very much pain. Nevmind.

  • What the fuck?

  • GAHHH KILL IT WITH FIRE

  • more like freaky "T"- virus...lol.

  • guess who didn't have dog fish for tea that night....

  • @TheSilvercarmel right

  • @T28spawn I had my mobile next to me , like most of the people in the world

  • so these fish were moving in motions that looked faked and you just so happened to have a camera on and filming it at just the right time?

    right.....

  • @T28spwn Except that it wasn't faked, and there was a plenty long threshold to grab a camera and record it as it was happening. Try putting salt on skinned frog legs, you'll end up with a similar result.

Try searching it if you want the science behind it.

  • Who makes tea with fish?

  • @cheeseabowl 'Tea' is how some people say 'dinner' (you ignorant american fuck)

  • @JonathanBloggs It was a joke (you arrogant fuck from whatever country you think is so much better than the U.S.)

  • Caused by salt?

  • the infection is coming! run for your life boy!!

  • ohh fuck O_O...

  • fata wak

  • SPECIAL EFFECT SUSHI!!! :D

  • you can tell that fish is fresh!

it must have been tasty after it had stop movin' about!

  • Ehhh!! Creepy! 0_0

Btw, you have an awesome voice! >//w//<

  • I would have had to go and buy a new house after that.

  • Lemon juice and aluminium foil acting as a battery. Good times.

  • Weirdest thing I've seen all day.

  • Oh god... Don't give the vegetarians more ammo.

  • Stumble Upon has some weird shit.

  • ....Zombies. It has started.

  • this is a good chemistry subject.

    lemon and almi makes ion

and ion is electron which moves the shark muscles

  • ZOMBIE FEEEEEEESH! AAAAAH! RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

  • these fishes would be fresh.. good for Sashimi.

  • Galvanic Current

  • uhhhhhhhh

  • I think it's just exercising for the dead treatment

  • I would be sooo scared as well! xDD

  • you put salt on it. the salt causes a chemical reaction that causes this

  • THIS MIGHT BE A SIGN TO STOP EATIN THAT SHIT.

  • thats weird

  • Not only will I never conjugate with a canine, I will never again put dismembered genitalia on my chopping board !

  • This is eel and it needs to move otherwise it's not fresh.

  • Spirits, I command thee, go out of these sharks!!!

  • @pdxtone

    Bageeeeeek!!!

  • dont talk shit wanks. ps your bird sounds like a TROLL

  • It was the lemon juice reacting with the bare nerves of the skinless fish. It's making the freshly dead synapses fire. Just like salt on fresh frog legs.

  • Freaky

  • aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! ooooooooohhhhhhmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggaaaawwwwwwwddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Zombie Fish!

  • You're a braver woman than I, I'd have been out of that door and down the road quicker than you could say zombie dogfish!

  • It would take someone with a strong stomach to eat that afterwards. Did you?

  • In case nobody has yet worked it out, aluminium foil plus lemon juice = battery

  • Who ya gonna call?

Also, you might want to check your fridge for demonic possession...

  • Do you know what kind of Dogfish? Isn't it a shark?

  • @lshanermi Umm.. it's food. Yes, when animals kill each other and eat each other it's animal cruelty.. brilliant.. Like when a Hyena bites into the neck of it's prey and it feels it..

Except this is humans preparing food. And the salt causes the fish's muscles to contract. Like what Beastie said.. oi

Stop being oversensitive about things.. life isn't all about happy days and unicorns.

  • WE CAN DANCE IF WE WANT TO

WE CAN LEAVE OUR FRIENDS BEHIND

BECAUSE YOUR FRIENDS DON'T DANCE AND IF THEY DON'T DANCE WELL THEY'RE NO FRIENDS OF MINE

  • @monicannabella haha

  • Wassup, lads.

about a shark fin, the Briton criticized a Japanese.

but a Japanese is the same as a Briton too, and all the meat of the shark eats.

(Or does the A noble gentleman want to do racial discrimination?)

  • omg omg omfg

  • Sushi goes wild

  • I think I'd never eat fish again then!

  • this must b snake!

  • @TheSilvercarmel thanks!!

  • The fish is movin but its dead.....LOL u trooper...

  • @t2p lol cheers

  • That is just after freaking the sh*t out of me! If that happened to me I'd be out of there like lightening screaming my head off!! lol

  • I want to go to Paris Mingy!

  • that looks like an iguana's tail NOT a fish lol

  • mmmm.... fresh fish.

  • Hey carmel Its Josh Hindley James M8 :) isnt it just the nervs making it move/??

  • @TheNoodleMusic hi Josh, yea apparently it was when I put the salt on the fish

  • it's called reflex

  • That fish is freaky

  • eeeeeew

  • Their nervous systems were still there. Probably just reacting to the lemon juice.

  • GTFO. No. Just, no.

  • Zombie Fish...it's what's for dinner.

  • Lemon juce + salt = electricity?

  • This reminds me of that scene in The Rock where Nic Cage wants Sean Connery to stop the dead guy from twitching, and Connery says, "What? Do you want me to kill him again?"

  • Someone put Benny Hill under this now!

  • どこぞの団体が抗議しそう(笑)

  • So you know its really fresh. ;)

  • The fish is moving but it's dead. Hahahahah classic.

  • よっ!イキがいいねぇ。

    Nice and Fresh ^ ^

  • To all vegetarians....my food shits your food.....

    I love eating fleshy animals...

    Good video...A+

  • もし犬とか猫とかの哺乳類でこれをやったらバッシングものだな

    この明確で曖昧なラインってなんなの?

  • クソワロタwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • きもい

  • ez flesss:D

  • 動いてる切り身より

    途中で入る声のほうが相当気持ち悪い

  • ????どういうこと?

  • 酷すぎワロタwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • The salt causes the fish's muscles to contract... Hence the little buggers start wriggling.

  • @Beastie14719 Why isn't this one of top comments? The logical explanation might help prevent some people from flipping out and proclaiming all sorts of outrageous nonsense.

  • @Beastie14719 ive salted fish plenty times and never seen that. im scared now haha

  • now thats what i call fresh fish!!!!! lol

  • It's well sound is that, like. Calm down, calm down.

  • OMG! I would have freaked!

  • They look like moving tongue's...Its freaking me out xD

  • ahaha wtf how does that even happen? this is either fake or theres some bad shit in the water these days

  • In Florida there's all these little lizards walking around. I don't live there, but I was visiting once, when I was younger. I thought they were cool and tried to pick one up. I picked it up by the very tip of the tail, and the natural reaction for it was to jump away, but the tip of the tail remained in my hand...Well I freaked out and dropped the tiny tail on the floor and it was still wiggling. I think its was nerve endings that were still "alive". Scary and gross and...blech.

  • good i would hate o be alive then gutted then have lemon juice out on me

  • It looks... horrible. Like zombie worms! (or zombie dog fish in this case)

But it's just muscle spasms, you must have put something on it, the lemon juice or salt. That in combination with the foil...

  • @yabakuro is there manlove?

    or shotgun?

  • Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! D:

  • I wonder if it was the fish's pain receptors reacting to the fact that it had no skin and had just been dipped in lemon juice? That shit has to sting. I can't believe you actually ate this after seeing this horror. The Vegetarian Society should show this at all their rallies. The entire country would be eating nothing but Broccoli within a month.

  • @Leemondus Would have thought a fillet of fish, i.e no gut`s no brain and no head would not have "felt" pain ?????? Otherwise fish and chip shop`s would be a massacre zone

  • @TheSilvercarmel - Yeah, pretty sure fish couldn't feel any pain without a brain, though some weird stuff's going on with it's nerves... Rather freaky, lol

  • @Leemondus But fish taste yummy. You aught to be careful when speaking about pain receptors in fish, you can't compare a mammalian CNS to the sensory receptors in fish. What you're seeing is in fact just a chemical reaction.

  • @Leemondus I'd agree to that. I was cooking chicken the other night and when i put it on the hot frying pain it kind of retracted a little. Just basic nerve endings still reacting. but THIS...wow lots of movement! :P

  • @Leemondus I would still eat fish. tho this video is very disturbing

  • @Leemondus you know that broccoli has a nervous system right? It's still pretty primitive, but technically broccoli can feel pain

  • @Leemondus It's actually the salt. Sodium makes the muscles go crazy.

  • @Leemondus this is the most hilarious comment I have ever seen in youtube. Thanks for the laughs

  • @Leemondus it aint got nothing to do with the pain receptors causing that. theres no brain to send signals too. and if it was reacting to pain, surely the knife would evoke more of a reaction than mere salt being sprinkled onto it

  • @Leemondus it aint got nothing to do with the pain receptors causing that. theres no brain to send signals too. and if it was reacting to pain, surely the knife would evoke more of a reaction than mere salt being sprinkled onto it

  • @videofxuniverse You think a knife cut would be more painful than being skinned and dipped in salt? Right...

  • @Leemondus shut up

  • @Ratama Okay Ratama, just for you.

  • Not sure I could have ate them after this.. Freaky fish

  • Grosssss!

  • *bokes*

  • Did these happen to start moving when you put salt on them?

Salt is both causes water to be drawn out of the tissues via osmosis and is also an electrolyte. Both of these things might make the fish muscles twitch.

  • i can't touch it

  • Exactly what seasoning do you put on zombie anyways?

  • @gdp505 its scottish , aye . Ye don't ken it then lad ?

  • @Bensidhe No, its scouse

  • @gdp505 play it with the sound down then , muppet

  • @1college07 Scottish ???? Try scouse , och aye

  • Haha...

    They are still alive...

    Don't scare her.

  • Wow. That made me horny!
