Up to now, no problem with corrosion. Maybe in the next few years...But anyway, it is a project in my leisure time. Next time maybe in stainless steel? We will see.

Are you making your firetube out of copper??

Might as well make it from butter. I'm pretty sure you wil be facing a "melt-down". If it doesn't melt, it surely will corrode in a short time..

Yes, it is pure copper. Unfortunately it is 2 mm thick. I wish there would have been material about 1 mm or even less in order to increase the thermal conduction.
