Yes, it is pure copper. Unfortunately it is 2 mm thick. I wish there would have been material about 1 mm or even less in order to increase the thermal conduction.

Are you making your firetube out of copper??
Might as well make it from butter. I'm pretty sure you wil be facing a "melt-down". If it doesn't melt, it surely will corrode in a short time..
