  • Up to now, no problem with corrosion. Maybe in the next few years...But anyway, it is a project in my leisure time. Next time maybe in stainless steel? We will see.

  • Are you making your firetube out of copper??

    Might as well make it from butter. I'm pretty sure you wil be facing a "melt-down". If it doesn't melt, it surely will corrode in a short time..

  • Yes, it is pure copper. Unfortunately it is 2 mm thick. I wish there would have been material about 1 mm or even less in order to increase the thermal conduction.
