@jesseroman3 it's most likely Chester Thomson AND Ralph Humprey as Frank used them both during the shows in late '73. There is very little information on this venue

i dont think they ever played this song the same way twice.

hands down my favorite zappa song, but the version on "roxy and elsewhere" will always be the best IMO.

having listened to over 50 versions from 73-74 shows, i'd say roxy is good, but there are much better ones out there :)

i find myself coming back to this one most often, though

Amazing version. Definitely earlier than last shows where there was huge band and orchestra. Wonder who the lady vocalist was on this.

her name is Irma Coffee, she was a guest vocalist a that show. Frank says at one point "this coffee ladies and gentlemen" ^^ which makes the event even funnier!

the venue and even approximate date are unknown, but i read somewhere that it comes from one of last shows in Europe. this song is present on "UN-Concert" bootleg.
