How do you GET the good ending?

@Ragnamune On the last level, the ceiling in your girlfriend's cell will lower slowly. By throwing shurikens at the switches on the wall, it'll stop temporarily. To get the good ending, beat Neo Zeed without letting her get crushed.

@Ragnamune You need POW for upgraded Shurikens AND hit Zeed at every chance you get AND use the little hole in the wall to slow down that thing that's about to crush your fiance.

Only then will you ever be able to see you fiance's un-flattened face.

The first thing I heard after beating Zeed. You heard me right - I got the good ending on my first try, and any try after that... Unless I was trying to get the bad ending. Speaking of Zeed, is there a way NOT to get hit by him?

Even though the good ending is nice (with a nice theme accompanying it), I somehow prefer the bad ending and deliberately get that one once in a while (by now: twice). And what's to say about this tune has already been said several times by comments before me.

@agwoodliffe Imo I think its meant to symbolize the end of a long horrible journey after facing so many near-death experiences. After its all over, Joe sees the sun rising with his fiance standing next to him at the same time. Going up against the odds that were, w/o a doubt against him, he'd probably thought he was going on a suicide mission all for a woman who would most likely have already been dead.

@indigograves I see what you mean, but the big problem is that this song is based around a minor chord, which usually gives a sad or 'negative' sort of feeling. For this ending, which is supposed to be a 'happy' ending, they should have ended it on a major chord instead.
