This has been going on for years & years...just not publicized. It is wrong on EVERY LEVEL! Yes..there are NOT enough organs-but it is SO wrong to assign more value to one life & not another. And this has NOTHING TO DO WITH OBAMACARE! Every hospital/transplant coordinator does this. The solution?...more donors! GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE! face it...do u need ur organs when ur gone? No!

CHOP saved my life, when all other hospitals threw their hands. CHOP is the best hospital standing. The doctors and nurses do wonders. The hospital would not just deny a child life. Unfortunately there are not enough organ donors. CHOP would not just destroy it's foundation. Hope lives in CHOP. So do not blame the hospital that saved your child in the first place. You can't realisticly ask that child to have it since there are so many other people who could benefit alot more from that heart. People dying is always a bad thing, but this is essentially a situation of "wasting the kidney on a useless person". It's nice and good to be so concerned about that child but realisticly there aren't nearly enought kidneys for all those who need it.
