  • mad men fucking sucks. what a gay ass show

  • @hachan4 - there is tons of substance to Mad Men, These are by far the best 2 shows on tv right now and we are lucky to have them both.

  • Jon Hamm is so hot; Don Draper is such an ass...

  • dont know why these two shows are compared, they are completely different from one another and they both kick arse

  • AMC is the greatest right now! Breaking Bad is king. Walking Dead is twisted and just awesome zombieness. Not the biggest fan of Mad Men, but it is very well made, top notch. And Hell On Wheels is soooooooo underrated. What, a drama series can't be extremely action-pack every episode, and move a little fast?

  • both shows are fantastic, fascinating but mad men has me reeled in which is unsual because i usually go for shows like Breaking Bad..both are amazing though

  • Both Breaking Bad AND Mad Men are terrific, in their own respective ways.

Mad Men is a pretty honest portrayal of the greed and spite that can drive people in high places to steep low just to climb evven higher, which makes the downfall all the more momentous and intense.

Breaking Bad is a fantastic character study, with a near-ineveitable 'bad' ending, as Jon said, and a brutal way about it.

Both can be hard to watch, have a fantastic crew and cast, and both are top-notch.

  • Donal Draper in Breaking Bad... one day, guys. One day.

You think I'm crazy now, but look who's laughing last!

  • @Sergeantspoon Walter White is Don Draper's son. Someone else on You Tube had that theory, and I'm gonna marry it one day. :p

  • Jon Hamm ain't got shit on Cranston. He's a boy in a high school production of death of a salesman compared to Cranston.

  • @KingofTheTang well when you put it like that, of course it sounds like it has more depth than mad men lol, but if you look at the subtlety in the camera work, dialogue, and symbols/metaphors of breaking bad, there really are no shows that come close, other than mad men of course, the substance of a show does not have to be from the plot itself, its what the writers and director do with that plot

  • Story matters here. Truly indeed, AMC with just 4 years in series, they gave us Mad men, breaking bad, Rubicon.... they kick the asses of the big ones.

  • Breaking Bad is the best show on telvision. Mad Men is along Boardwalk Empire the second best things on TV.

Mabsss33 - You say you can't relate to the characters from Breaking Bad, that's fair enough. But I wonder, which of the characters in Mad Men do you relate to? The alcoholic chain smoking unfaithful damaged advertising agent Don Draper, or possibly the quiet lonely struggling female copy writer in Peggy Olson?

FYI, This is a joke post. I just thought what you said was quite humorous.

  • The Walking Dead, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad. Awesome shows.

  • Dexter was the coolest thing that happened to me for television in a long time. Then along came Walter White...

  • Breaking bad is so well writen and hasan amazing stroyline and great acting (BC) but me personally i can not relate to any of the characters. Not just in terms of what they are doing but their personallitys. Thats why I enjoy mad men more because it appeals to me. Just like how people like big bang theory... I dont see the appeal thats why I watch community. But breaking bad is still a great show but I prefer Mad men.

  • Mad Men is a good show but Breaking Bad is truly great.

  • Look at him trying to insinuate his character's at the level of Walter White. You got squat on Cranston Hamm! You're just a poster-boy stud for the females!

  • Breaking Bad comes first then Mad Man. I love breaking bad because the characters are always trying to make the best of there lives by any means possible. And Mad Man because of all the pussy the characters get and it has this feeling of prestige.

  • I find these shows very similar and the story lines pretty parallel too. I mean, guy that fucks up his family by keeping secrets, blonde wives who divorce them after they have a new-born baby? Drug use? There the exact same show! But damn, are the both awesome!

  • Two of the best shows on Television.

  • mad men lol

  • @KingofTheTang Mad Men is good, but fuck the 60's i'm sick of hearing about the 60's. Breaking Bad is something new and exciting. And it's not just about Meth, it's about Life and the Choices we make. I can relate more to that than the 60's

  • @KingofTheTang I might agree with you.... Except "Breaking Bad" is not about methamphetamine or even drugs. I didn't say meth wasn't part of the story line. I do say it is about people who break bad, and how that river in life can take a turn at the slightest point. Outstanding writing, and the cinematography is second to none.

  • I love that Jon Hamm loves television so much. He really gets into it.

  • @KingofTheTang I've changed my opinion since then, but I still believe that Cranston gives the better performance.

  • Now here is an idea that is food for thought (in my opinion anyway). Walter White turns out to be Donald Draper's illegitimate child, fathered from one of Draper's many many flings.

  • @shaun180381 I just got moist.

  • Yeah mr white! Yeah SCIENCE!

  • Breaking Bad is by far the superior show. Substance over style.

  • @hschan4 hell yeah! Breaking Bad is superior to every TV show however, Mad Men is a pretty good show nonetheless.

  • @hschan4 Ridiculous. Both shows have style, and both shows have substance. They are by far the best two shows on television, but I don't care in what order you want to put them.

  • my 2 fave shows!

  • Jon Hamm AND Breaking Bad?

    Fantastic video.
