honestly, i can say, i see both sides of being honest and silly too. i think characters that people do are ok i guess. but i also value trueness. more so than a "character."

This repetitive use of the word "honest" sounds more like brainwashing than anything else.
Your opinion on what "being honest" means to you and what a value it is to you would have been more interesting and would have sounded more "honest".

i agree that people who are being real are refreshing to listen and watch (like geriatric1927) However, sometimes it is fun to put tin foil on our heads and be silly just for the sake of being silly... :o) we can't be serious all the time or we'd go nuts... by the way, that beach looked awesome!!

Renetto is entertaining people, so I think it's alright for him to do what he does. Paul is kind and honest, and that's obviously great. I never thought of either of them trying to catch attention, personally. In fact, Renetto came back as a request from Geriatric1927. That surely counts for something.
I don't think YouTube is only about being honest. It's about expressing almost anything you want, meeting people, having a good time, and plenty of other things.
