People saying that he's the next Mayweather are hilarious. If anything, he's the next Meldrick Taylor. It's way too early to call since he hasn't fought any noteworthy opponents as of yet but he'll get there by next year or two.

This guy, along with Nonito Donaire and Yuriorkis Gamboa, are my current favorite lower weight fighters.

@goon6284 gamboa would win now, but once gary gets some tougher fights in a year or two, he'll kill Gamboa for 1 primary reason. He's way more polished and accurate. Gamboa is inconsistent and sloppy at times, and sharp shooter like Gary could take advantage of that sloppiness
