Okay everyone i used to have the same problem but i accidently stumbled on how to still logon ok when i logged on it would say windows is already activated then log me off but then i found out that if you press (the windows symbol + u a mini screen will pop up in that mini screen would would ask to go on to the microsoft website but in the box where you would put the website type C:/ and my desktop icons were restored it was only temporary but it was enough time to access the files

Yes, this video shows that if you call them, which when you choose to click start, click activate windows, then there will be an option on there to call them, 888.571.2048

It's really not that hard...

After you click the activate windows now, which there should be an icon in the start menu like activate windows or whatever...

After you've gotten as far as clicking start, and then clicking on the icon in start, then come back and watch the video tutorial on how to activate windows Xp, ...
