  • I see you've added from the BBC Northanger Abbey. :) from jane austen... lol nice job tho

  • @art4thecure1 It also mentions Carmilla caressing her in her sleep. Yes, there is no sex, but there was implied fondling.

  • @alexdinhohd Wish I understood what you've written.

  • i read carmilla and i dont recall laura & carmilla having sex w/ each other. i know its been turned into a lesbian movie a few times but in the book the furthest laura and carmilla came was carmilla having kissed laura, held her hand, or resting her head on laura's shoulder. carmilla did say to laura, "i have loved no one and shall love no one unless it be you." but yeah- i cant recall them having sex in the book.... main thing i noticed between your movie & the book. very nice otherwise.

  • @art4thecure1 Yeah, I was taking some liberties. Mea culpa.

  • Excelente!

  • I know you use Rachel..but how owns the body and what film is this from? BUT THIS IS GREAT!!

  • @PFXProductions Some of the pictures are from NORTHANGER ABBEY, including some where Rachel Hurd Wood's head is placed atop Carey Mulligan's body.

  • @zahir13 I see cool thanks <3

  • Stupid twilight fans don't know what a vampire really is.

  • I've just finished reading LeFanu's story, and I'm sorry for being critical, but I cannot follow the narrative from your images alone. Clearly you're inventing scenes, such as the bathing sequence, without recourse to the original story. Other times I cannot distinguish one character from another; they seem to be portrayed by such a multiplicity of actors that it's impossible to keep them straight. I apologize, but I just can't make sense out of this otherwise lovely video.

  • I hope you make films someday!

    Fantasic work!

  • es el peor video que e visto... lo siento

  • This was a strange book at that. Female vampire, trying to get her groove on with a young human...........nice.

  • This came a bit after Cristobal, which is even stranger because you're unsure if the temptress is a vampire or some sort of demon or a witch or a fairy.

  • Yes, it was apparently very strongly influenced by Coleridge's poem "Cristobel."

  • And it predates Stoker's Dracula story by over twenty years.

  • @jamesjeffreypaul Whoa, something that precedes Carmilla? What is Cristobel?

  • @trence5 It is a narrative poem about a female vampire (Lady Geraldine) who victimizes the poem's title character. Just google "Cristobel" and Samuel Taylor Coleridge and you'll find lots of info about it, plus many sites containing the full text of the poem.

  • @trence5 There's also The Vampyre by John Polidori (1819, widely recognised as the story that started the modern day Vampire Genre), and Varney the Vampire by James Malcolm Rymer (1847), which a lot of the modern day tropes about Vampires is taken from. Both of these pre date both Carmilla by Lefanu, and Dracula by Bram Stoker.

  • Nice. Scary.

  • Where can you see the full film?

    Thanks..

  • good work!

  • Excellent!!

  • what movie is this from

  • é a música d' "A Profecia"

  • ... and still you're watching the movie.

  • what is the name of the first song?

  • In the short story there never was any sex. Sorry :(

  • im scare of the songs n hyming n humming..its creepy..good job btw..

  • what's movie are the picture ?(SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH)

  • Very creepy mood for members of the fairer sex!

  • Hey! this is just from the BBC adaptation of Northanger Abbey!

  • Hello, I like your story adaptation from "Camilla" what about the 3 part? Also could you tell me the scenes from part 2 where they from? And is there a movie or serie from the television? I think I read from 1999 adapted from the novel from Joseph sheridan.

  • There's a movie made by hammer horror called the Vampire Lovers which used the novel Carmilla. It was pretty good.

  • i love the book of crmilla ,I like more than drakula from Bram stoker, it´s better well I think¡

    i can´t wait for the next part¡

    Do it soon please¡

  • I really love your vidéo ,you translate very well the feeling of the book.

    I am waiting the next!

"Carmilla" is a fantastic love story ,and so a fabulous vampyr story, its one of the books i read again and again ;now, i'll think to yours characters !

  • It's definitely intersting & well done...but is it a preview of a film, or a film in itself?

  • Fantastic! Carmilla is, I believe, the best vampire story. I love your adaptation. BRAVO!!!
