I guess you could say I knew this band while they were in Phoenix. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the band and the road crew. I got to know them for quite a while. Real class rockers.
My name is Micki and my sister Kim and I used to cool out with this band. They were great musicians! I miss them and wish they would do some shows in Florida...I'd be up front again!!!!! Love you guys if you're reading this!!
Hi Chris (Godzilla) - we met in Detroit , I'm a friend of Pete Bankert's - I was playing in Ron Keels band. Whenever Madam X wants to do a reunion show let me know - ROCKLAHOMA awaits!!
Hey Sam, Whats happening at your end of the world? I was just reading old comments on this vid, HA HA HA ... Rocklahoma 2011 would be a blast!!!! If you can make it happen we'll be there! My best to you , Chris
Not that It matters , But this was a dress rehearsal at the Tumble in a night club that Chris and Maxine owned before the Roxy date. There was a only a small group of friends and family there . As for Maxine's playing ,she broke a string and had to improvise during the solo.Rock on and try not to get your panties in a bunch, Chris
Thank You all for remembering, if it seems like the band had trouble following it is the video not the band we were on fire this night and it is at the ROXY THEATER in Hollywood!!..Bret Kaiser The ORIGINAL
I was there too, from M.X. to Kaiser, they just had another Kaiser reunion in Phoenix, all the originals, Brett, Bro Bruce, Mikey Bonez, Pete, etc., Good Memories, Hammerheads, Zero's, Despos & to many after hours parties, Love & Miss them Debi in Phoenix!!!
i think this was at the tumble inn, in eckerman, michigan, in the middle of michigan's upper peninsula.... uhhh, nowhere'sville....LOL i lived up there, and knew chris and maxine well. had many great friday and saturday's at the old stumble inn before heavy snow brought the roof down... literally. it was a wonderful time in the mid to late 90's up there, grunge never existed at that place.
Hey Nighthawk, My brother played with Eric, Kurt and Chris.
Every once in a while Maxine and Roxie would sit in. That was the rockin place..... Nothing remains of the Tumble Inn but a little but of grass where it once stood. I played there in 1974......
hey casey, help me out a bit here... i hadn't thought to much about the doctor bone guys in some time. who was who? LOL obviously chris played bass. kurt was the blond haired drummer, right? eric had curly hair and played bass, right? and the lead singer i remembered was killed walking along the road one winter night. he played guitar also. i had alot of photos of that lineup, heck, we may have even known each other if you were around there in 96-2000. drop me a line back ASAP! thx!!
5 years? This was 1991 nearly 20 years ago. Maxine's guitar playing isn't sloppy, the timing on the video is screwed up and it looks like the band might have had trouble following Brett. He seemed kind of going in a direction not expected. Today Maxine has developed into the "Shredder Queen." She has 2 solo CD's and they are bitchin.
Yep, 1991 is 5 years since I saw Madam X in 1986, and Maxine was absolutely on fire then. Maybe it is the video, but it does look sloppy, maybe this was just an "off" night for the band.
brett is a great singer. i was in the right place at the right time in the late 80's when he and his brother had their band "Kaiser" here in phoenix and got to see him almost every weekend! but as far as i know, he's an elvis impersonator now! :(
not easy to replace Bach!!

Am I imagining it, or is Maxines guitar playing here REALLY sloppy compared to the old days? surely she can't have got that rusty in 5 years?
