Hey, you could have used Time Warp or one those programs to slow down the 60p footage even to an slower rate... It only requires to shoot on a really high shutter speed, and that´s it, you´ll get away with it. See some canon 7d at 1000fps footage on youtube...

Instead of filming hand held, you should use a tripod, and add the hand held shake in post. Much easier, and you won't need to track anything.
