  • I will be honest with you, it is tough work and yes you have to be committed to it. I just started doing this and I thought it was bs. but its not it will help you. At times you want to run and hide from whatever your holding on too but you cant, its not creepy but its scary bc you really see yourself in that place that she takes you too and its scary bc thats something you dont want to remember but if you stick with it, it will help you. Right now Im scared to go back but I know I need this.

  • You know my therapist wants to do this to me but it looks creepy and does not look ok, I still see her pain it's just a repeat of your bad memories, not for me no thanks.

  • @Storywithin - I believe that is part of the therapy, facing the bad memories so you can process them and work through them. i dont know though, I havent started yet. I originally wrote EMDR off as hocus pocus but a good friend of mine educated me on it and so Ill be starting hopefully soon

  • @ruthven78 OK THANK YOU

  • Really good stuff, hard to watch though. EMDR helps a lot of people. Thanks for sharing!

  • me gustaria verlos en español porque me cuesta seguir el ingles

  • I am confused as to the device given to the client in the beginning of the session and what role, if any, eye movement plays in this therapy. This resembles a variant of Gestalt.
