I took a flight DL714 on 21Dec from Los Angeles to New York JFK. My seat was 3C. The flight was very smooth. The seat was comfortable. I really liked a big pillow and a large blanket. The temperature was a little cold for me. I did not have a chance to enjoy the entertainments on board. I would try next time. Overall it is recommendable.
I got Delta Business Class this morning from LAX to JFK. The flight was very comfortable. Space was enough, blanket was good. The flight is Red-eye flight. I could not get any food service because I slept well during flight time. The sheet was good for Red\eye flight. I could work whole day today as same as usual.
Those are the same Recaro seats used by Virgin America on the same route - through Virgin's seats look like they use a bit plusher leather. The food choices on this flight were not as creative as Virgin America but similar to United ps.
@nycflyer well, delta from heathrow are pretty good thats what i go on amd i kmow american don't have flats, but your opinion is your opinion
