When I was 15 or 16 I was digging through my parents' old albums in search of something to listen to and happened upon that classic cover. Intrigued, I put it on the turntable and have never been the same since.
One of my all-time favorite musical memories is the next few weeks as I listened to this over and over, memorizing every single note and word.
25 years later it still brings tears to my eyes, especially this song.
Is it just me or is the fucking logo moving to the left...!? Trippy!
Awesome song though, my all time favourite band and album. I remember being 6 years old, in my Dad's old Cortina, flying down the back roads of South Yorkshire in the pitch black, with this album blasting out on the old tape deck. Was fucking epic. :>
I was seduced by a woman for the first time in July, 1973. We were both college students. After dinner at her place, she said "I want you to hear something" She threw two big lounge pillows down on the floor in front of the stereo, placed a joint on each pillow and put 'Dark Side of the Moon' on the turntable. Granted, I didn't make her scream like-damn I forget her name-you know the woman who sings the big O in this song, but hey I never claimed to have a Gilmour Peter either, A great album.

"And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I don't mind.
Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime."
"If you can hear this whispering you are dying."
"I never said I was frightened of dying."
