  • sinclair lewis was right

  • This doesn't do a damned thing to explain the issue of faith based initiatives.

This video is an epic fail. It's apparent no research went into this video. I would delete this video and start from the beginning if I were you.

  • And you have made zero vids. Make one better than this -- then we talk. Asshole.

  • And you have never worked in a government agency, so you can't condemn their initiatives!

You don't need to make a video yourself to see that your video sucks.

  • This taught everyone jack shit about faith based initiative programs. Instead of going into any examples or details you just stated what is obvious in the very title of F.B.I. programs (that essentially it's fascist subsidization of the only tax exempt for profit businesses in america) and then basicly condemned it as socialism without even a single example of one of these programs. Wtf?!

  • This video is right on. The "faith based in itiative" is unconstitutional, it violates the separation of church and state and brings our government one step closer to becoming a theocracy. This program is un-American.

  • But is it really endorsing religion?

  • Providing government money to religious groups is an endorsement of religion. Which religious groups will the government give grants too? Who will be denied? This shit has already been taken too far.

  • Not saying that I disagree with you, but there definitely is some legal wiggle room since you don't have to endorse something to pay them to do work for you.

Same thing with tax breaks. Non church-going citizens & businesses pay taxes & churches don't. You can say it's wrong, but is it endorsement?

  • No, churches should NOT be tax exempt. It's a business like any other. Church is BIG business, especially in the USA.

  • But can you find constitutional grounds to make it illegal? That's the real question here and the real question with Faith Based initiatives.

  • I personally found this video funny. I get tired of seeing videos that religions can post based on their bible, without credible sources. Lets remember this is for entertainment purposes.

  • I want to like this video and the point it makes (while perhaps counter-productively inflammatory) is valid and compelling. Unfortunately, the EDITING TO THIS VIDEO IS SO BAD I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT!

It's too busy! To bland! And might actually be worse than the poster just talking into a webcam and cheap mic! HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO CREATE SOMETHING THIS BAD!?

It's a point that, in spite of its sophistry, needs to be made for many people. It deserves a classier treatment. Please try again.

  • First of all I noticed that you have mad an absolute total of zero videos yourself. Secondly you have not stated one thing that needs to be 'cited.' If you want such evidence -- be specific.

Then the "try again" shit -- I have made 32 vids. Look at some of them before you pass judgement.

  • Then, last of all, watch the video before being such an asshole.

  • Just wondering, what is it about tpeople that beleive in some kind of god that really disturbes you? To they really impose on you or make your life difficult that you seem to dislike them?

  • Just what is it about people like you who make comments on videos that you didn't even watch?

  • how bout talking about all the tax dollars being funneled to Islamic mosques via the Faith Based Initiatives...Are Atheist scared of Muslims? or do they just have more history persecuting Christians?

  • Guess what -- for a fact -- it is xtians who abuse the tax system in the -- US of fuckin' A more than anyone else. Ted Haggard, Jerry Falwell, James Dobson, Benny Hinn, Jimmy Swaggart, to name a few. Do some research --- asshole.

  • oh my gosh you are so right

    without christian taxes wouldnt exist

    except for NOT

taxes are a part of the US government and just because there may be some people who abuse taxes that are chirstians doesnt mean theyre the only ones

i dont understand why you are bashing groups and organizations that help some of the neediest of our society, whether they are emotionally hurting or in physical trouble these people are really helping our country

and i really dont see the problem with that

  • Dear Sir (or Madam),

If you could use punctuation, I may be able to understand what it is that you are tying to say. Until then -- keep learning,my good man, and -- dare I say, "god bless!"

  • Why haven't I been watching? I'm an idiot! This is phenomenal.

    Big.

    Fat.

    5.

  • Yes, Bush is a dolt. Yes, Robertson is a pig.

But what guys like you just WON'T get through your thick skulls is that we, the NORMAL people of the USA, would rather have BOTH of these nuts in power than hateful atheists like YOU, who would, admit it, OUTLAW religion and persecute us Christians just like the Russian KGB did!

  • "Hateful atheists," are you fucking serious- the most hateful people ever to roam the surface of our planet have been the religious- "NORMAL" GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!(for jesus that is, fuck yourself for jesus).

  • What about Stalin and the other atheists that sent ANYONE to the gulag, if not ASSASSINATED, for practising religion...or disagreeing with them in ANY way? Or the Vietnamese goverment that sent my Christian brother and others running into the jungle for fear of being arrested JUST for having a normal church service in their OWN HOMES?

  • Centuries of The Inquisition ring any bells?

  • And there's one more thing: how come you atheists can't just respond with a NORMAL debate WITHOUT going to the CHILDISH use of harsh language? Could it be because believers like me are RIGHT that guys like you want to take over the world, just like Bin Laden AND Pat Robertson, and eliminate anyone that doesn't agree with you?

  • I dig your whole trolling shtick.

If you're not a troll, you might consider trying to take the high ground and actually debating. Important things to remember:

    1) If you're debating you need to AGREE on what words ACTUALLY mean. e.g. You need to understand what a scientist means when (s)he says "theory".

    2) You should be prepared to cite good sourceS of information.

    3) You must be prepared to be wrong the point of a debate is to better understand why people think what they think.

  • You also have to agree on terms, and what "winning" is.

  • Agreeing on terms would be Thing to Remember 1.

Thing to Remember 3 also means that when you argue everyone wins. The point of arguing isn't to prove to someone else that you're right, but to understand each other's ideas and logic better.

They aren't my words, but you should secretly hope to lose when you argue. Because if you do, it will mean you have learned something new.

  • Whenever I say something like "please convince me I'm wrong" when talking about religion, they all say I'm not really an atheist.

  • Someone like me, even as an atheist, would never go against the constitution, which says you can believe whatever delusions you want.

  • I'm glad to know we fundie fuckwads upset you so. It means we're doing our jobs right! God loves you!

  • So god loves me. Gee, never thought of that, guess that changes everything, dosen't it.

  • Good work for the effort into this video. Its a shame your country has legislated funding based on faith. In Australia this initiative would never pass the senate (hopefully).

  • Loved the way you went easy on Bush in this one, Panther. :D

  • I considered "pigfucker" -- ah, but a little too 'biker' for Bush. Sheepfucker is more along the Bush cowboy theme. But he's also a goat-blower and a shit-licker. -- aw, i'll get those in next time.

  • I'm not so sure, you and I are around the same age and you look familiar. Ever live in Minneapolis? Portland? Thanks for the compliments, your stuff is top of the line in my view.

  • Religion is a for-profit business. Tax the piss out of 'em.

  • One would think that history would serve as a lesson -- don't listen to liars. Guess humanity is slow to learn. Too slow.

  • Godlesspanther does it again. How do you manage to rock so hard? Are there lessons? It's scary, the influence that some people have over society's most needy. These people are being exploited, simply because they are the most vunerable. It's happening in oz, in some places it is impossible (or hours of traveling is involved, something that some people cannot afford) to receive financial assistance, emergency accomodation, counselling services, or healthcare from secular organisations.

  • I do my best work when I'm really pissed, and this is something that really pisses me off.

  • Perhaps I should clarify that in the US 'pissed' means angry, not drunk. I don't get sloshed and make videos --- -- very often. ;)

  • Yes, you get lessons by taking a big bong hit and rockin' out to Hot Tuna with the volume cranked.

  • Oh, don't forget the part where they promise you that you'll see your loved ones again. I love that one.

  • Actually, I don't think he would be caught dead with a sheep. He is a COW-boy.

  • Ace!

  • I hate the idea of governement profiting from religion worse.
