Is this process harmful to the environment in any way?

@ryan148 galvanizing product can be good for environment, can be safe lots of maintain cost. (compare with paint or others.) galvanizing product can avoid corrosion around 30-50 years without any maintain. of course its process like normal steel factory. the pretreatment process like pickling, maybe acid fume will effect the environment, but it can be solve by scrubber. galvanizing fume by bag filter system. wast water use recycling system. GALVANIZING CAN BE VERY GREEN.

@shanveerkasim99 depend on what kind of steel put into. the time for each process will different.

@bravecat100 the cleaned steel gets put in hydrocloric acid (15%)until it is stripped to bare metal

well im the main kettle man, im incharge of giving the parts time. you name it i can do it! 5/16" thread no problem, hang work no problem, washers no problem. specialist at galvanizing, ben douing it for a while.. drossing the kettle no problem. im all over it!!
