Hes like Rich Porcello the kid dominates the Minors and HS but he gets to the MLB and hes average he will like like 20 HR a year hes not going to have a good BA hes to aggressive to hit for a high BA hes used to playing kids who arent as good as him and thats why hes struggling in AA hes playing finnally kids who are better and its showing his BA is low and hes like 30 AA at bats and he has 2 RBIs and no XBHs hes has to step it up or hes not going far he will be like Strausburg waste of 10 mill

Pure rotational swing. Hands inside the ball, full extension. He's drilling line drives one after another. ANY batter will strike out 9 times out of 10 against a pitcher good enough to paint his curve ball on the outside corner or a good low change up consistently, but the good batters will adjust, like this kid!

He is wrong, but you dont have to bring your back elbow in to not get jammed. Its called turning on the pitch. Your not supposed to change your swing for any one type of pitch, you just have to change your timing. Slow outside pitch, take it the otherway, and hold up on the ball. Heat jammed inside, swing earlier and hit it down the line or into right field.

He is wrong, but you dont have to bring your back elbow in to not get jammed. You're not supposed to change your swing for anyone pitch. Only thing you are supposed to change is bat speed and the angle of your bat. If it's an outside change-up, slow down and take it the other way, if you hit it foul, big deal, there not going to throw a change up by you. Inside fastball, swing earlier and hit it to right/rightcenter/down the line.

Thats the real tip to success as a hitter.
