actually I very rarely use my optic. They are realizing that everything is going flash memory now for data transfer, except for program installs. 20 bucks for 8 Gigs of reusable flash mem, usb, the best dvd is 4 gigs, cdr is 800 mb. hell you can just go bluetooth too and not connect much at all. think about it...
This computer looks like it could be a very useful asset in my life. Shame the quality of the keyboard is so bad, and it should have a bigger RAM. I'd probably wait for better ones to come out...after all, all the computer companies are in the competition for the lightest and most efficient computer.
By the way, I really like the intro to the Wired Gadget Lab. Nice music.

the guy is wrong about the optical drive ...its only one usb cable. That power cable is the laptop cable which u carry around anyway.
