  • hey man cool setup! looks exact same as mine!! except my strut bar isnt on as it doesnt fit it hits the fuel rail. i got 800-something-cc injectors and rhx6 apexi turbo running at around 18psi at the moment. i am yet to get it put on the dyno.

  • Most s14 t28's are jurnel bearings not bb the s15 is bb with a differnt type of wheel

  • I u are talkin about the stock t28's that come on the sr20 notchbacks u will absolutely blow that turbo up very quick on 20psi those turbos start to get damaged after 12psi

  • they come with a t25 (s13 non bb t25, s14 bb t25) but i do agree running a t28 at 20 lbs would kill the turbo no matter what size injectors

  • you can boost T28 up to 20 psi if your using big injectors. Atleast 740cc

  • my mates drift car makes 327rwkw and its a full built sr20. so its easy to make over 340hp.

  • cia4u... our workshops drift car was running 29psi, and it only made 340hp, how the fuck does an sr make 460 on 20psi? please enlighten me as i am really interested in knowing how, as i am currently rebuilding an sr for time attack.

    any help would be really really appreciated. (is the secret adding moth balls to the fuel tank? or is it leaving the air con turned off to scavenge an extra 2hp(really does save 2hp, dynoed it there myself:-)?

  • weird man u obviously know ur shit but how ur only getn 340hp with 30psi is wierd i got cams and forgies only runin a lil baby gt2860 (not the disco) 550 inj/ microtech ecu at 14psi and getn 300hp . bigger injectors retune and highmount 3040 told easy 400hp, about ur block warping, got a few mates runin sr20s round the 400hp mark and never had block warping issues. maybe ur dyno needs reconfigurating? they can be as much as 60hp out of wack if they havnt been configurated for a while

  • @RogueR31 cams dude. you'll probably find if you drop the boost back to 25 or maybe even 20 it will make pretty much the same power as it just cannot flow anymore. SR20s are a little asthmatic with stock cams, but even a set of poncams seem to really open them up.

  • @RogueR31 Are you in AUS ? what workshop ? My road driven 180sx made 340.4 hp at the rear wheels on 20 psi of boost, i have the dyno sheet on my fridge and have no problem e-mailing it to you for proof. if you have a gt28RS running at 29psi and 340 whp theres a chance your over spinning it and the compressor wheel is cavitating, a larger frame turbo will produce more boost (volume) at lower compressor speeds.

  • wt sizes injectors were u running in the 180sx i just bougth a gt35r

  • had 1000cc hks injectors in a hks rail twin 044 pumps, use to run nismo 740's in a stanard rail but maxed them on old setup a bit over 300kw

  • I ended up spinning a bearing at a racing event so i stripped the car and sold eveything.

    but it had oversized valves, double valve springs, solid lifters obviousally, ran a .6mm headgasket, arp head studs, and just yeah custom made huge 290 12.5 mm cams with cam gears.

  • What causes a spun bearing?

  • Heavy vibration (unbalanced crank) or reving a cold engine to high are common causes.

  • since i sold the 180 i now got my hands on a nice fd (rotar power haha), starting to play with that now, has t04z 1.15 rebuilt motor power fc just getting some 1700cc injectors new pump and I'll add a new video to put up :)
