OK SO - this trailer is very misleading. I watched this movie last night, thinking it was a feel good, funny movie. OMG, I can't remember the last time I cried so much watching a movie! Still a great flick. Got me thinking of my parents & how much I appreciate them. Don't know what I'll do when they are gone!!! Also great to see Robert De Niro play something other than a mean old man ;-)

The trailer makes it look like a super duper happy movie but when you go and watch it you'll end up in tears. The trailer underestimates the movie. This movie is truly worth watching.

I ate lunch with my parents after watching this movie and I couldn't stop crying right in front of them. I keep remembering the movie and DeNiro. It's such a heart-wrenching movie.

Just saw this yesterday - highly underrated film. The supporting actors (Barrymore, Beckinsale, and Rockwell) all give credible performances, but it's DeNiro who has to carry this movie and he does a great job with it. Not only is he in practically every scene, he plays a very tough role: an ordinary working class father of 4. This trailer gives the impression that this is a comedy, but is very much a drama.

Just brilliant , i'm French and it's a kind of movie we will never have , we only have very crapy films or there is one who's that great 1 time of 10000 times . It's powerful , de Niro is wonderful, he really has a presence , the camera takes amazing shots , and there is a real scenario , a thing we don't see very often

if you see this...JUST have in mind, that this is NOT a comedy.

BUT...its a good thing in this case. its a rare movie that misleads people through marketing (like the trailer / poster)....but it packs a strong emotional punch.

Lets just say, i heard its very sad...which made me more curious (about why).

And...i was very pleased. the 2nd half i definently cried. not bawling but just made me thankful of everyone i have in my life.

The "art" near the very end, gave me such a big smile i cried

It looks like to be inspired by an Italian film played by Marcello Mastroianni and direct by Tornatore, the title of this film is "Stanno tutti bene" which literally means Everybody´s fine... I think will be a great film but you do not forget to watch also the original ....
