Used to bunk off college to go home and watch 'Fat Tulip'. Have got loads on video at my mother's house - will look them up and try to get on disc.

Yet to be released on DVD, but there's always hope. That wonderful series from years ago, 'Turtle's Progress' was recently re-released for a short time and another classic, 'Chelmsford 123' has also appeared on DVD. So, you never know - 'Tulip' may go the same way. Here's hoping.

I loved this show as a child, and was hoping to ask if it would be possible for u to put as many of these episodes on to disk for me, i would gratefully pay a small fee if required too. i would do it myself, but i have no knowledge of how to. thank u for sharing them -i have told many people over the years about this much loved fave of mine, no one had heard of it and i was staring to feel like everyone thought i was mad and no one believed it even existed!!-

I just fuckin loved this programme when it was on UTV or ITV, As I used to watch it in Ireland...

Time Team would be even better if Tony Robinson presented it like he did with Tales frm Fat Tulips Garden.... just a thought ....

this show was great! i wish they still made interesting kids shows like this...It always kinda made me feel a bit sick though watching it, i dont know why, maybe the mud?:S i miss all those old shows, especially good sooty with matthew in it.

It's funny the number of people who have been looking for this for years. Used to watch this during the early 90s. For some reason, I thought it really weird and something about it used to freak me out a bit (don't ask me what). Thanks for posting this, as now I know the name of this great old show.

Brilliant!!!! Tony Robinson best person for this show, he really brought things to life with his unique style of story telling. I have had the privilege of meeting Tony Robinson and he said there are no plans to release Fat Tulip's Garden on DVD shame that I'd love to own them all.
