Multiple clone characters on one screen is a gimmick to help sell the game to an idiotic consumer . There is a hand held gaming system called the super joy which features 900 games on one cartridge, too bad the majority of those games on the cartridge are copied multiple times .

In the end, pirates care more for your money then producing quality knockoffs.

last time I checked the NES sales was about 60m which I am sure is more than PS3 and Wii combined (at the moment). Fighting game was never NES's strong point but it more than made up with other fun and innovative games that modern systems just seem to lack
