  • Think im gonna do a little impulse purchase ^^

  • My Song "Yellow Eyes" is done with a little help from the "Prelude".

Check my Channel for viewing ang listening.

  • Well, Roland do it again in the completely naff demo department. The impression I get from this vid and it's presenter is either there isn't much to say about the Prelude or they just couldn't be bothered. I love Roland keyboard but jeez guys come on! get the demo's sorted will ya!

  • Hello I am portuguese I have 4 sites for music recorded at home with 300 wotts will see thanks. ( titacaldas)

  • What's the difference between the Prelude and the GW-8?

I went to Roland keyboards, arrangers page and I didn't see the GW-8. why is that? I thought the GW-8 is an arranger?

  • I'm thinking about buying a new keyboard next year, the prelude is fantastic for what it is.I want a roland keyboard with decent brass and solo string sounds above general midi quality.Prelude is one possibility and another is an E09.

  • GW-8 is still better ;)

  • Q: How to convert a GW-8 to PRELUDE?

Ans: Just add a pair of speakers with it.

  • is it me or do arrangers sound better than synths... like fantom x Juno G korg m3 etc..... they seem to

  • hows that suppose to be the same as gw 8? gw 8 doesnt have that harmonic effect built in when you play guitar?

  • does dis keyboard hv 'mix' inputs

  • the guitars are ill

  • Try and make sense of this though. The Prelude is nothing but the Roland GW-8 with speakers, less features, built for the home player.., and costs more. How much sense does that make? The Prelude is said to hit the market at just under $1000 ($999). The GW-8 (same keyboard without speakers) is built better, has patch editing and sells for $845.... Save yourself some money and buy the GW8. Prelude's another example of how they rip off the home buyer with jacked prices for a recycle unit.

  • The Roland 'Prelude' is a great instrument for players of all abilities and musical tastes.

With the greatest respect, this demo does not do it justice.
