I admit this game is probably better than ufc undisputed but heres the deal ok true story. When the ufc decided to make a video game they immediately went to EA sports to ask if they could work together. EA said "We don't consider MMA a sport". When the ufc's popularity skyrocketed and they made a video game on their own after seeing how much money they were making EA sport decided to make "EA's MMA" pretty sad actually...
I have a feeling EA didn't want to be trapped in one promotion's roster of fighters, they have a lot more freedom being able to pick whoever is willing to be involved in the game. Anyone butthurt over them turning down Dana has his dick in their mouth imo. Total UFC fags. I'm not saying UFC is for fags, I'm saying some people think UFC is the most amazing thing on the planet and seem to get MMA mixed up with UFC. UFC is NOT the only promotion in MMA.
@rocketmcnamara look the fact of the matter is the ufc is 10 times bigger than all the other MMA promotions put together. With the exception of Fedor, Dan Henderson, Melendez and maybe Overeem all the best fighters in the world fight in the ufc. As for their freedom the ufc game is much more depth roster as well as fighers people have actually heard of so yes UFC isn't the only promotion the ufc but it sure as hell is the biggest and most exciting on GSP v Koscheck crowd atmosphere proves that.

They need to work on getting the fighters general movements down better and their natural behavior before the fight, etc. For some reason, I get the feeling that either they don't think about that or just don't care.

@MrModernClassic, I agree with you. Undisputed 2010 sucks. I liked the first one, but the new one has so many bug and glitches it is pathetic. It is also taking them forever to get a decent patch out. I do like UFC undisputed better because I like all the fighter from the UFC. I don't watch much strike force or anything else. So I will always be buying UFC video games. I will be trying this out though.

I am one of many people that will definitely try something before i judge it but by looking at this video, the graphics dont compare in my opinion and the gameplay seems like what was on ufc 2009, which has improved in 2010, in my opinion....
@dijohn17 i played career mode and only one guy i was succesful with and he was light heavyweight and heavyweight champion, hall of famer and champion in both divisions for 3-4 years lost 4 fights ( two to ryan bader early in career and one to rampage jackson and one to shogun rua) but beat sooo many people he was like 41 and 4 lol his strength cardio and speed were at max at retirement last fight was against nogara
ufc undisputed 2010 game is brilliant, so far removed from ufc 09. Thing is tho u really really av2 master it 2 get the very best out of it. u will av 2 invest time into it. if u do, it's rewarding.
Why are we all arguing? THQ sucks and EA sucks most the time. I mean look at Madden they would go straight years making bull crap games just because they had the license and lets not forget NBA Live. Just played UFC Undisputed 2010 and I must say the title for "best MMA game" is certainly up for grabs. I hope this game delivers. EA usually have their crowning moments when they are playing the underdog role. I expect big things from this game no doubt.

I will probably end up buying both UFC and EA MMA just because I am a mma fan first and EA has a tradition of making good sports games but anyone that thinks this will outsell Undisputed will be sadly mistaken. It's sort of like the football games after Madden. There were plenty of other football games some of which may have even had better gameplay but when it comes to sports if you don't have the name power you got no real chance.

Agree to a certain point but i guess alot of people are familliar with how EA drives their other series of sports games and see how this will go the same path.
Not saying its all bad tho, their Madden and NHL have had some highlights indeed.
But considering EAs history, im guessing this game will come out as a potential masterpiece that need polish. A polish that EA, in their usual manner, will overlook for years to come.

UFC have ufc licence and only ufc licence while EA got/getting licence from every other org wich Im sorry to say hasnt the most famous fighters but Im also intitled to say that many of them can hold theyr own in the UFC hands down

UFC 2010 will no doubt have the better roster of fighters. But EA Sports knows how to make sports games and EA's MMA will probably have better gameplay. Anybody who's played Madden, Fight Night, or any other EA Sports game knows that you get your moneys worth. EA Sports always delivers the best gameplay of any sports game.

EA's mma game doesn't have anyone well known compared to the UFC.
Just like Dana White pointed out. EA said MMA wasn't a real sport and then they saw how well UFC was doing and how well the UFC game was doing so they said, "hey, we can really go somewhere with this."
I'm pretty sure that's a good enough reason to not like EA's game. They didn't even think MMA was a real sport at first. Bunch of nerds.

I am one of many people that will definitely try something before i judge it but by looking at this video, the graphics dont compare in my opinion and the gameplay seems like what was on ufc 2009, which has improved in 2010, in my opinion....

@dijohn17 i played career mode and only one guy i was succesful with and he was light heavyweight and heavyweight champion, hall of famer and champion in both divisions for 3-4 years lost 4 fights ( two to ryan bader early in career and one to rampage jackson and one to shogun rua) but beat sooo many people he was like 41 and 4 lol his strength cardio and speed were at max at retirement last fight was against nogara

Just played UFC Undisputed 2010 and I must say the title for "best MMA game" is certainly up for grabs. I hope this game delivers. EA usually have their crowning moments when they are playing the underdog role. I expect big things from this game no doubt.

I will probably end up buying both UFC and EA MMA just because I am a mma fan first and EA has a tradition of making good sports games but anyone that thinks this will outsell Undisputed will be sadly mistaken. It's sort of like the football games after Madden. There were plenty of other football games some of which may have even had better gameplay but when it comes to sports if you don't have the name power you got no real chance.

Agree to a certain point but i guess alot of people are familliar with how EA drives their other series of sports games and see how this will go the same path.
Not saying its all bad tho, their Madden and NHL have had some highlights indeed.
But considering EAs history, im guessing this game will come out as a potential masterpiece that need polish. A polish that EA, in their usual manner, will overlook for years to come.

I played ufc 2009 and the 2010 demo i cant say much for EA MMA
but the pros and cons so far
UFC have ufc licence and only ufc licence while EA got/getting licence from every other org wich Im sorry to say hasnt the most famous fighters but Im also intitled to say that many of them can hold theyr own in the UFC hands down
plus at the end of the day we all prefer to CAF

Gonna be a difficult decision because i reckon the gameplay will possibly be better in in the EA version because they have so much experience in sports games compared to THQ who can be a bit dodgy. much prefer having the full cast of UFC fighters in undisputed though, plus if they have improved last years game, could be very good

UFC 2010 will no doubt have the better roster of fighters. But EA Sports knows how to make sports games and EA's MMA will probably have better gameplay. Anybody who's played Madden, Fight Night, or any other EA Sports game knows that you get your moneys worth. EA Sports always delivers the best gameplay of any sports game.
