To help out, if you want a daycare there is a hack. You have to download it, its not somthing you can just but in the cheat window. Thats too easy apperently.

If you want the cheat, go to Mod the sims 2 and search for (No family limit) and if you want to school them, (No school). I hope this helped message me if any troubles!

You can get as many people as you want after your done making the family, just type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and right click on anybody and click "Make Selectable" and they live with you now!

@SimtasticVideos no boolpro. boolprop bad. kills family members used on. deletes all familys and files. if used way to often, prevents sims from ever working again. ever. this is from experience.
