  • going through the guard house on the airfield is where i fell in love with this game

  • "You can relax, JC. I told the troops to stand down. That's right; I'm working for the NSF."

  • This song also plays on the radios in DX:HR sometimes.

  • Thumbs up if you always killed Anna at this point.

  • I always put a LAM near the door where Anna comes in. The second she opens that door... BOOM! Then I don't have to listen to her bullshit.

  • this track reminds me a lot of Unreal.

  • @DNADestroyer Same composer :)

  • @DNADestroyer - oh yes, it is very similar to the tune playing at Demon's Crater (before you enter Skaarj Mothership) in Unreal, also composed by Michel van den Bos.

  • this game was created by brilliant minds!!

  • why lebedev, he didn't do anything wrong... i hate the part where you choose between him and anna navarre... if you keep talking to leb, he starts to tell you about your childhood etc... <3

  • @l0ll3d123 what childhood? is the quesiton

  • I remember playing this game with the Shifter mod. Back then, I used to use Electrostatic Discharge against the bots. Even today, I still find myself madly slashing at those small security drones with my combat knife until they become disabled.

  • I wish my family name was Denton.

  • Hehe, my surname is Lebedev :)

Deus Ex have the best soundtrack!!!

  • @Kilotray9 WHERE'S YOUR AIRFIELD YOUNG MAN ?

  • hugely atmospheric for those that know!

  • This level was great, so was this music!

  • The "character conversation" music of this level it's even better IMHO but too hard to find

  • @mgf001 another thing i cant find is that fast paced piano track it sometimes play when you die

  • This song always hits me hard. Tunes like this made the game for me, asides from everything else the game has going for it.

The song definitely has a feel that's along the lines of the song Megrez by Gordian Knot. When I first heard that, years after playing this game, I could remember various mishaps with those explosive barrels.

  • This is definitely one of my favourite tunes from the game.

  • This is one of my favourite Deus Ex tracks. The music mirrors the doubt you're beginning to feel about your alleigances and whether what you're doing is *really* right.

  • I agree, its also the true "turning point" in the game as well...!
